Monza Gorilla And Dribbler Met!

Recommended Posts

Just letting you all know that Russ and myself met for the first time today. Russ is a keen car enthusiast and decided to chance one of my cups of tea (he was still okay after an hour) and dropped in to see me and my Dad at work. Discussion went from music and cars through to Formula One and of course our beloved TF1 site.

I wish i could tell you that Russ is a freak show with an incurable tick and unsightly sores; that would make a good story. The boring truth is that he is exactly how he portrays himself here, is thoroughly normal, is a real gentleman and it was a pleasure to meet him. He brought his beloved Scimitar GTC for us to have a look at too and it's a beauty! It actually started when he left too!

Is this a first for our site? Has anyone else here met other members too?

Wow! That's a nice story. I haven't met anyone yet, although Paul has offered me a drink in Liverpool when I'm next around!

That's great that you guys have met.

How good would it be to be able to get everyone on the forum together, we would have an awesome time.

Steve sold himself a bit short I think. The car he showed me that's about to go out to NZ is superb. A real beauty and a testament to his skill. As I've just got back from the pub I can say that several pints of Bombardier is enough to neutralise the Dribbler tea........

I won't say what we said about the rest of you..............................

It would be a bit odd at first though.

imagine not seeing ykick as coulthard's mug shot....

but as soon as we realise who is who he could form tables with each side and start throwing stuff at alonso fans.....

lol . just joking. it would be good to see any/all of the people on this forum.

if you think about it, we spend almost 0.5 hours a day reading/writing replies in this place and yet we may never be able to meet anyone off it.

It helped that we'd posted photos in another thread. That way we weren't too surprised. I agree about Ykick though. I'm beginning ti think he really is DC. I drove past Ben's old house a couple of times last year. Could have fire bombed it if I'd been better prepared. (only joking Ben!)

I'll get pumpdoc's balls with my stun gun :D

How violent of you! I'm shocked at such words from a left-wing, peace-loving liberal like yourself!

While i dislike many unnecessary wars i am not a pacifist. WW1 and WW2 were very necessary and im glad my country was involved.

Sorry. I couldn't decide whether to use axe or annihilate.

Back on topic, are we really the only two forum members to have met in the real world?

Yeah, it's great to meet up.

We were organising a mass forum meet up on another board. Well, 2 actually but the one in the UK never really happened.

Oh well, glad you two had fun. lol
