I'm not an expert but if you post the list of all the italian car makers it might be easier for some more expert people to tell you the name. I was thinking about those who made the Isetta but then I googled and they weren't italians, it was BMW. I've go a list of italian car makers, I hope it helps. Unless the definition of "made a sports car" is somehow limited (for example, they manufactured but never designed one) in which case the only one that could maybe fit is FIAT.
