pumpdoc 2 Report post Posted October 7, 2008 Ok so some think that the mods are not around much so they can get away with anything, NOT TRUE!! Sorry DOF but I deleted your Hammy Greneda thread because of all the inuendo jesting that was going on, not because of you. WARNING: to all posters your comments were way out and I'll return as the banner if it keeps up. Bruce

maure 1 Report post Posted October 8, 2008 Damn. Wish I'd read it now. You and I. Considering what is allowed around here, it is nearly impossible to think what merits "deletion". But, hey, one less inane thread... replaced by another one.

Max Mosley 2 Report post Posted October 8, 2008 Damn. Wish I'd read it now. Me too. Far more interesting than F1. I've been too busy for once and it seems I missed out on some Class A innuendo. So Paul: who was the culprit?

cavallino 2 Report post Posted October 8, 2008 Someone who wants to vote for McCain would be pretty crazy. Anyone voting for McCain-Palin needs their heads checked, that woman is scary. The prospect of her running the U.S. is as terrifying as that of any terrorist/ other dodgy group or regime acquiring nuclear weapons.

Fortunately even the americans won't vote for her/him in large enough numbers. Not that I think Obama is all he's cracked up to be.

The prospect of her running the U.S. is as terrifying as that of any terrorist/ other dodgy group or regime acquiring nuclear weapons. Last night's debate pretty much sealed the election. McCain needed to win big, and he didn't. He needed to show he had specific ideas to deal with the economy, and he didn't. Unfortunately everybody's realising they don't give a sh*t about gay rights and abortion when the country is so far down the toilet. He just has to hope race plays a part now. Unfortunately it didn't seem to in the primaries, so barring catastrophe Obama should be the next president. If he had thought about his VP pick more I'd have more sympathy. Palin lost him my vote though.

goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2008 I'm sure I read that thread and didn't think there was anything wrong with it at all. That's probably not a good sign Yeah me neither.... The prospect of her running the U.S. is as terrifying as that of any terrorist/ other dodgy group or regime acquiring nuclear weapons. I think both president's will be useless anyways, Both can't stop America in recession/depression, most likely will not be able to take out before their first term and will be a gully ka bakra... So IMO the elections don't matter....

The prospect of her running the U.S. is as terrifying as that of any terrorist/ other dodgy group or regime acquiring nuclear weapons. As opposed to a guy who talks (only with teleprompter) about change, picks a 65-year old (talking about being a breath away), 36-year insider as VP who was trounced by "inexperienced" oponent and could not get straigt facts about his own background (I know, I live in "his" state), whose sum total of experience is helping hoods from ACORN intimidate voters in Chicago (and spent 2 years as senator, 2/3 of which he was busy running for president), who could do ACORN "community organizing" (read intimidating) because he was unemployed due to failure to make a junior partner in a law firm he worked for, who is qualified to be a President because (in his own words) he is running his own campaign (he is not running it- two former Fannie May execs are running it), who spent 20 years listening to a preacher continuously slamming USofA, and who is either suing anyone disagreeing with him, or have people investigating him detained in foreign countries, not to mention who was openly endorsed by such peace-loving organizations as Hezbollah and Hamas. Yup, you got me - Palin for VP is way scarier than 0 for President.
