dribbler 6 Report post Posted March 24, 2012 Sorry to disappoint you but his comeback is already more successful than the german punk guy. First race and already outstanding race pace. Came from way behind into the points, almost as well as Perez, and without pushing/shoving/bumping anybody out of his way as the un-respectful german punk usually does. He drove well but don't get carried away; he got lucky to get into the points. He's ten years younger than Michael and been out of the loop for less time. I should hope he is back up to speed quickly. And even if Michael did 'push, bump and shove' he would be doing that in a 'disrespectful' way, not un-respectful. Schumacher's been penalized when he crossed it, and they let it go when he doesn't cross it. If other drivers don't want to take advantage of the legal area, their problem, not Michael's... And I say this as a huge Schumacher detractor. I really don't like the guy. But come on...he goes for it. Or used to go for it. No, the gearbox was damaged during the out he had at the quali in Australia, it lasted the Australian GP still, but they didn't think it would last another anymore so they changed it (I think they only found the damage in Malaysia though). Interesting for Red Bull to go down the strategy road and not push for qualifying position, but DC did say that Malaysia is more about the race itself than starting grid position. Schumi is this week's "third who will fare worse during the race", although I doubt he'll do worse than Grosjean last week. Quiet One 15 Report post Posted March 24, 2012 The old german punk guy will be up there for a few laps at least. Good effort Ditto for the Flying Ice Cream. Romain very close to Kimi's times. With Macca on a league of their own in qualy, it will be interesting in the next races to watch the places between P2 and P6 or 7th. Alonso in P9 seems like a more realistic reflection of Ferrari's erformance right now. Encouraging news for Massa that, despite ending up in Q2 somewhere down below, he was at least within 0.5s of Alonso's time. I am hoping for a dry race tomorrow (something Alonso would not certainly hope for! ) I want to see those battles for top 10, they will be tough! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
