Kyvat ONLY pulled off his move because Vettel took evasive action. That is not something to be admired or applauded. Again you didn't address my analogy of running a red light. It's not hard. It's quite simple. If someone has to avoid you due to your bad or dangerous driving and then hits another car, pedestrian or just crashes, that person at fault who ran the red light CANNOT dismiss it due to the fact they themselves did not lock up a tyre, crash or hit anyone or thing.

At the end of the day it's rated as racing incident. However Kvyat's actions caused the contact, thus if we are actually going to portion some blame, it has to be more in Kvyat's direction. He doesn't have patience and his radio messages later in the race with him swearing over and over shows that to be so.

Bs, kvyat was well alongside before Vettel took evasive action, he tried turning in first but then swerved back out. Even arrivabene said no one was at fault and even said Vettel and raikkonen would probably try the same thing.

Kvyat came into that corner carrying too much speed. Sakae posted an image showing Kvyat's racing line proving this. You yourself said Kvyat came into the corner too fast yesterday. Forgotten already?

Mate I honestly believe you suffer from some form of split personality disorder. You don't seem to remember what you post, or the view you took on a matter. Others have brought this up too. You agree with someone and then completely forget the point and go on the attack against something you only just agreed with. Bizarre.

Yeah I do think he came in to fast but he still pulled it of mate and in doing so turned it into a great move. Don't jump to conclusions as that seems to be your favourite thing to do, ohh and only skim reading or dissecting posts. Mate you claim it was bottas's fault in Russia last year, you say it was ricciardo's fault in Monaco last year and now your saying its kvyats fault like wtf dude, how inconsistant are your claims? Serious how can that be classed a dangerous move when he didn't even bloody hit anyone? Get over the fact your beloved Ferrari team got shafted again and see it with common sense, like I said, even arrivabene said raikkonen and Vettel would do the same thing as kvyat did if they were in that position, even kimi said it wasn't a big deal so I can't see the issue mate what more you want?

Those incidents are mile apart from what happened yesterday! How you can even compare it is unreasonable

Your missing the entire point mate, the point Iam trying to make is you change your opinion based on what driver was involved Iam still sitting here with my mind blown as to how a clean overtaking move is concidered dangerous, that's all it comes down to. Also how is this any different from Russia 2015, ohh I know, kvyat didn't clobber into the side of Vettel, that's the only difference yet bottas who was in the position Vettel was yesterday was at fault in that incident yet Seb isn't yesterday and kimi was innocent when he tagged bottas in the same position kvyat was yesterday yet is was kvyats fault yesterday. See the point Iam making? You do this flip flopping thing just so you don't have to admit your wrong or say your favourite driver fvcked up. It's not personal bro, seems every kimi fan is the same and it doesn't matter what forum your on either. I've come to the conclusion it's down to fans so very badly wanting kimi to succeed that they manipulate scenarios to make them feel a sense of achievement as if to say "well he can't win but as long as he doesn't do anything wrong,Iam fine with that". Got to accept reality man.

I think the only reason Seb was so upset with Kvyat is because he ended up hitting Kimi and everyone knows, you don't hit your own team mate. If Kvyat hadn't been there he could have taken avoiding action from Kimi, but he had a Red Bull there and nowhere to go. He hated hitting the other Ferrari and for want of a better term 'took it out' on Kvyat, which perhaps isn't entirely fair. Saying that, we've probably all done something similar when we've been annoyed. I know I have and I don't mind admitting it either. I usually realise I've done it though and apologise, I am guessing Seb probably will too, he's a decent guy, it was a heat of the moment thing and nothing more if you ask me.

Totally agree, but since when does Seb care about anyone but himself? This attitude was absent at redbull, people don't want to except that Seb actually made a mistake to coming into the corner and I feel he doesn't want to take the blame 100% for what he feels was an idiot mistake. The blank Expression of wtf on kvyats face when Vettel confronts him says it all as he knew he didn't touch Seb so I think he didn't quite understand what was the issue.

That's total BS, I am sorry Emmcee. You cannot justify such statements and expect any sympathy. For one, I am sure he cares about his friends and family. With respect to a snake pit, F1 paddock is, I am not totally with you why you picking on a one individual only, and leaving all of your favorites out. Are you sure that your observation is free of bias?

Vettel has always cared about his team. Okay so he had some moments with Webber, which is where your dislike of him comes from I am guessing. That wasn't all on Seb's side either I have to tell you. Mark did his share of stirring the pot. Seb has always been a team player, ask anyone who has worked with him in the garage. Ask the other drivers when he's trying to push for better safety for all of them. Ask Bianchi's family when Seb helped carry his coffin into the church. Saying he's never cared about anyone is unfair and undeserved.

You still want to beat your team mate on track but he wouldn't have wanted to drive into Kimi like he did yesterday. It was a racing incident.

How did Seb make a mistake in that corner? He had a car either side of him and nowhere to go, what was he supposed to do, evaporate? If he'd tried to back off he'd have been rear ended, he was boxed in for goodness sake. Please do explain what he was meant to do. So he lost his temper and blamed someone else, as I said, we've all done that, including me. It's human nature.

How did Seb make a mistake in that corner?

After the race I've have been under the impression it was a racing accident, but this opinion is in a minority, so it seems. In fact, British media approached SM with direct questions what he will do with Vettel because of this. I am lost for words how bad it is these days. Effort to get Vettel out of the way just continues.

All this comes down to is how the hell people are blaming Daniil Kvyat for the incident with Vettel and raikkonen that's it. As for Vettel making a mistake, if you watch the clip, he was beginning to under steer anyway so he would have more likely have to had made a correction anyway, especially with kimi turning in. Sakae, you need to look at previous posts to see what I mean, the inconsistencies with people's opinions because there favourite driver was affected, that's the whole thing Iam trying to point out. Arrrrrgggghhhh geeez

Make it clear for me then, please. Was this in your opinion a racing incident, or Vettel bears avoidable responsibility for coming into contact with his teammate once Kvyat was alongside? I am trying to understand why so many pundits laid responsibility on Vettel, instead accepting this as a simple accident. I do not care right now about other incidents before, or after.

that was the first thing that Ivan Capelli, the pundit for Italy's state television RAI, said, both Ferraris were wide and Vettel had some understeering and that's why he called it a racing incident (assuming that Kvyat had nothing to do with the contact between the Ferraris). Considering that generally speaking the chaps at RAI are extremely biased in favour of Ferrari, if they say that it wasn't Kvyat's fault IMHO this proves beyond any reasonable doubt that Kvyat had nothing to do with it shades.gif

Kvyat did not break any rules, but not to nitpick, him merely being there prevented Vettel from evasive maneuver when he saw Kimi coming, so yes, he indirectly play a role in that scene. Had he stayed behind it may or may not ended up in some better way between Ferrari teammates, we will never know, but that doesn't matter now. Could, would etc. will not solve much.

Difference is that Seb and Kimi actually like and respect eachother.

Now, what happened between Seb and Webber was reciprocal. They were both not happy with the situation and Seb turned out to be the bad guy as the team put him ahead. How could they not? Sebastian was having a better season, coming from world championship and several race wins. I know that they played this 'we let our drivers play fair' silly story, but let's be honest here - all teams who want to achieve something (and even some who do not) have their preferences between their drivers. It has always been so, and apparently now the political correct thing is to deny it, but we all should know it happens.

Yes, I like Sebastian more than Webber, but I am not saying I do agree or disagree with none of this. I am simply stating what it is.

Ferrari of today is almost with clinical precision ensuring, that they do treat both theirs drivers, equally. There is no No. 1 or 2 (yet), but life is such, that people like to associate themselves with winners, and if one of those two drivers should pull significantly ahead, he will earn unspoken No. 1 position for the brand, regardless what management says, and it may not be necessarily Sebastian. Both drivers will have to fight for that privilege.

Kimi's open and fair non-political attitude. The reason why Massa was actually able to beat him was that he did'nt command nr1 preference treatment, which turned againts him. The other side of the garage could equally excel

I've already said it was a racing incident but everyone who loves Ferrari wants to lay blame on kvyat, for what? Pulling of an exceptional move? If anyone is to blame it would be Vettel as he was already beginning to understeer, but it IS a racing incident.

People with racing experience can see from the footage that Vettel was beginning to understeer and a correction would've been required regardless.

Yeah ok, you work your whole life to get to f1 to give your teammate (your number one rival) equal chance of success and you don't care if you win or loose? Wtf

BAM!!!!!! Another common sense posts, haven't I said for ages no webber wasn't receiving equal treatment? And like I said, why would he if he simply isn't performing the same, why would they build and test new parts on webber's car's before seb's? They wouldn't so any one who even suggests that webber had a fair go with equal equipment is nuts, the only time he ever did have a fair go was 2009-2010 both years well especially 2010 it was in his lap and he still couldn't do it, that's where redbull gave it all to Seb, it was going to happen regardless as redbull will always back there own product before anyone else's.
