Bloody hell, we've all been predicting a spectacular crash but I thought it would be Sato not Karthikeyan. I don't think I was alone in thinking that... then again theres still 25laps for Sato to do it :P

Another Safety Car *sigh*

That was a heavy crash

Yeah

Quite lucky to walk away from it me thinks... must've hurt like hell too, bet he has bruises.

He must have gone very wide to have an accident there! Inexperience and ineptitude were plainly on show!

Oh dear, not the kind of comments we want on our beloved forum. Karthikeyan somehow managed to loose control of his car on a straight and hit a barrier several meters off to the left of the circuit, complete and utter ineptitude I say. I remember at Germany in the race when Karty left the circuit on the left of a straight, then tried to correct it and immediately left the circuit on the right! Pathetic! This guy is a $30m joke who is only in the sport for commercial reasons and because of the overwhelming generosity of his immensely wealthy (and foolish) financial backers.

"Narain obviously had a fairly huge shunt, which was partly due to the safety staying out on track quite a long time"....he did not make a mistake there. It fair when he makes a bad mistake and you giuys jump into the forum to start writing something bad about NK and other drivers maybe to show off how good you are with F1 and how much you understand but not like this.

I dont think NK is inept but you have certainly shown how inept you are and how your knolwedge is judgemental and pathetic just as your thinking. so i dont give a Sh#t about what you have to say. start getting some info on F1 for a start and then clear your mind a bit so you do not get prejudice to back up your foolishness

then again, MS couldn't cope with the cold tyres which had a lower pressure due to the safety car period and he retired....

Bit bad how no one went to his car with a fire extinguisher though....

mars u forgot to mention that the above quote was from adrian brugus after the race(part of jordan thinktank) for senna and other biased posters will claim that it is ur version of the incident and term it as biased

Indeed, i was thinking the very same wondering where the marshalls were, i think an investigation needs to go on as to why they didnt come to the car that was on flames!

karty took his time getting out of the car though! I was like "it's on fire karty, GET OUT NOW!!!!"

It seems he can't be quick even when his life depends on it. What hope does he have when he has $30m with which to bribe his way though F1?

Can I just ask the indians to clarify what they're saying. Do you have a quote that the crash was not his fault or are you just misleading us as usual with partial quotes like

"QUOTE(mars99 @ Oct 16 2005, 02:03 PM)

"Narain obviously had a fairly huge shunt, which was partly due to the safety staying out on track quite a long time"....he did not make a mistake there. It fair when he makes a bad mistake and you giuys jump into the forum to

which just suggest to me that adrian brugus thinks that the safety car staying out for so long wasn't NK's fault. I would agree with him so far but does he say any more than that?

Maybe because it was still green flag, and the car was on the middle of the striaght!

I wouldn't be running out there until i was told the SC was out and no more cars were going to be flying at me. It'd be like playing frogger, only in high speed and for your life!

At Shanghai, Narain 'understeered' in a straight line onto the artificial turf and then *SMASH*! That incident at Germany would make Sato blush! I don't see how Burgess blaming the Safety Car absolves Narain of total and absolute blame for the smash. Whilst I acknowledge his tyres were cold, it was the same for everyone, only he crashed, not even Sato did!

who said it absolves him of blame he made an F-1 car's worth error. plain and simple.

He's a rookie (albeit not a very good one). He got caught out. Life goes on.

Spectacularly rigged quali performance, though, I notice.

apparently some narain fans (not yourself Shadow) think that Narain can totally blame cold tyres. All I'm saying is that it was the same for everyone, that's all.

Obviously! How can he crash whilst on a straight with no mechanical problems? How can one understeer on a straight? Narain must have gone wide and then lost grip and crashed but I

Bollocks. To say he is inept is talking Bollocks. NK has usually been the best of the rookies on car control, whether correcting a straying Jordan, or just moving out of the way of race leaders as a back marker, whereas other backmarkers such as TM have been castigated for not making way for race leaders.

And I advise you, take that 30 million USD and shove it up your @ss before someone else does. Its very irritating to see you quoting the same old bull statistic which you know is wrong. Have some consideration for the users of this forum who are tired of seeing that number coming out of your @ss all the time

But its fair to say NK is only in f1 cos he's indian and cos of the money. Its hard to judge talent when driving such a terrible car but he hasnt set the world alight at all

whatever, he'll not be in F1 next season, monteiro's favourite to retain his jordan drive

What? Has Narain and his sponsors run out of cash, surely not? Although they did cough up $30m for the 05 drive so perhaps they are skint!
