Even by accident Button could not make it to the top of the podium in 100 of his race ventures.

But being in 25s and burnt the rubbers so long bring that much experience (How not to win?). Button chances fades in the light of drivers around him KR, FA, JM, MS, RB. And I doubt whether they will let him slip in.

Button is going to have RB as his team mate and my instint says RB will bring nemesis to Button. Personally I I want Button to win. Contradictions.

I think "touched by god" is going a bit far describing any human, but its certainly a very nice compliment coming from a very respected driver and someone who works closely with jenson. I dont think Button is an angel sent from heaven but I definately think he deserves to be consistently winning races

Button's 'touched by God'

Jenson Button has the "remarkable" skills to propel him to World Championship glory, according to BAR-Honda sporting director Gil de Ferran.

Button, who has raced in 100 grands prix without a victory, will be joined by Rubens Barrichello at Honda-owned BAR next season to give the team their strongest driver line-up ever.

De Ferran, a former Indianapolis 500 winner, believes Button has what it takes to reach the very top and lavished praise on his star driver.

"He's a man who has been touched by God," said de Ferran.

"His skill is just remarkable. He's a driver like few I've seen before with a fine touch and an amazing feeling for the car."

"He has a tremendous amount of natural ability and there's no question that he has the raw materials within him to achieve the ultimate success."

De Ferran, who joined the team early last season, is convinced BAR have what it takes to break their victory duck next year.

He added: "We certainly have two drivers capable of winning races and I'm confident the design and race teams are capable not only of producing a good car but also operating it well enough to achieve that objective."

"Clearly, to win a lot of different things have to come right on the day and that's the big challenge."

"But I don't get out of bed thinking 'let's finish second'. I didn't have that attitude when I was a driver and I certainly don't have it now. I'm here to fight for race wins and Championships.
