And thats a very nice gesture allowing barrichello to race in the first number, not a lot of other drivers would do that! JB is a nice guy, i wish some of you would show a little more respect other than calling him a boyband member etc!

barrichello has won races button has not so the pressure is clearly on button to prove he can win. the team is also strructured around him so he is expected to deliver the first win for the team.

Button would have won races in the Ferrari too as it was clearly the best car over the course of Rubens career there (not including this season).

If Button beats Barrichello then you'll still bitch that he hasn't won a race? What if the car is not capable of winning next season? Will you still slate Button even if he beats Rubens?

Of course he will. Everyone will. Even when jenson does win a race, people will attack him for not being a champion yet. I saw on itv-f1.com today that Button said "none of my team-mates have won a race driving the same car as me" thats a very good point. Cant really attack Button for not winning a race when his team-mates, who include proven race-winners like trulli, fisichella and jv, have also not won a race in the same car as JB. I think all the people who slate button for not winning a race yet are just plain pathetic myself

Fisichella's a proven race winner? ahem, i believe he won a freak race in 03 for Jordan, and then Aus 05 because he got VERY lucky.

Take Japan 2005 for an example as to why he isn't a proven race winner.

JV Shouldn't of won a race at BAR because whilst he was there, the car was obviously not capable for any driver.

Trulli isn't a proven race winner either, he's won 1 race from memory.

The only year Button should of won a race in most peoples opinions semms to be 2004.

Though, if Ferrari had a bad year Reno could of been on for the WDC and WCC aswell, and would of went for developing the 04 car, instead of jumping to the 05 car so early on, this may have made Alonso or even Trulli (well thats stretching it abit far ig uess) WDC also.

I dont think so. In my opinion jenson was far more impressive than both renault drivers in 04. Alonso who's supposed to be 'the next Schumacher' was barely a match for trulli until mid-season

Like i said, they'd of continued development on their car. In reality they go tto work on their 05 car very early instead, looks like it paid off for them this year

This has been discussed a million times. Think back to the 4 races where ferrari didnt win - think where jenson was. Now you see why he didnt win. Don't forget the 11 times he was on the podium - if ferrari hadnt won one of those races, jense would've won instead cos was nearly always 'best of the rest' behind Schuey & Rubens.

One can only wonder what JV would have done had it been him at BAR in 2004 instead of Sato. I have no doubt BAR would have won a race (JV or JB) as both would be pushing the other alot harder than JB was pushed by Sato in '04.
