bajo39 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2006 kimi = god he can do it all. Kimi is no Schumacher and I don't even think he's an Alonso after this season... I don't see him being an equal rival for Fernando without an attitude adjustment.

dark rider 13 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 As long as Fernando keeps winning, he doesn't need to adjust a thing. Now, Kimi on the other hand... kimi is more than a match for that whiney d#ck alonso ull c next year hell wipe the bord with Fas constantly breaking engine n if kimi had the car he wud have already had 2 championships a gr8 driver insanly fast

Wez 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 As long as Fernando keeps winning, he doesn't need to adjust a thing. Now, Kimi on the other hand... Exactly... now Kimi had better hope that the 2007 Ferrari is A LOT faster than the Mclaren if he is to take it!
goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 Exactly... now Kimi had better hope that the 2007 Ferrari is A LOT faster than the Mclaren if he is to take it! Due to the engine regulation the final engine from japan/brazil can only be used, so we shall see this weekend how fast mclaren are if they can keep up with the ferrari then alonso has a chnace otherwise ferrari dominence

goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 Right so the engines alone will determine next year's WDC? Since tyres are out the equation engines and drivers skill are the most importent. I think kimi and alonso and massa(to some extent) have similar skills so thus engines will decide the place for top

I think kimi and alonso and massa(to some extent) have similar skills so thus engines will decide the place for top 3 Driver skill is almost a wash between Alonso and Kimi but Massa will not be as competitive as Kimi so let's set him aside for the moment. The factors for relative success will be as follows: 1. Reliability 2. Making best use of the tyres (car and driver) 3. Aero 4. Engines
Loser Boy 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 With Tata's takeover of Corus, Williams ought to get steel for the cars at cheaper prices & give Narain a seat as way of saying thanks! With so much money , Tata should enter F1 & give Narain a seat. It'd be interesting.

Tyre's are about the same, though ferrari have an advantage with that due to the years of use of Bridgestone tyres. Aero i assume would be likely the same, both are quite good at devlopment. Engines, i would think ferrari superior due to the reasons stated earlier. So thus i think Kimi has a higher probability of winning than Alonsokeeping luck out of this models)

I can pretty much gaurantee that Alonso will not throw away valuable points by running into the back of someone That had nothing to do with McLaren's reliability... Allow me... The key factors to relative success next year are, as I mentioned: 1. Reliability 2. Making best use of the tyres 3. Aero 4. Engines Reliability should again be a problem with McLaren although to a lesser extent if there recent form gives any indication. The problems with McLaren's QA/QC will take more time than the off-season allows to sort... If there is carry over in design philosophy, the McLaren should again be very easy on its tyres. I don't think there is any advantage in Ferrari's familiarity with Bridgestone tyres because the construction and compound will both be very different. Even small changes between races throw the teams off, so with massive changes like we shall see next year, Ferrari will effectively be starting from scratch. The Ferrari should again be superior in this department, perhaps even more so with the technical losses at McLaren. Engines - who knows, maybe McLaren will come back somewhat with the changes they made in this department coming to fruition? Overall, I think the advantages in reliability and chassis design will compensate for the possibly better usage of tyres the McLaren will enjoy... I'm predicting a Raikkonnen WDC next year. I have prdicted kimi for wdc earlier and agree with you on most accounts except the one with mclaren enjoying better usage of tyres. Ferrari know the staff of bridgestone well familarity also helps teams, like a staff of BS went from handling Ferrari to Mclaen and casually let it slip to anyother worker who is working for ferrari wat mclaren are using so.... Bridgestone will have a soft spot to ferrari for supporting them for so many years. I expect that situation to improve in '07. I can pretty much gaurantee that Alonso will not throw away valuable points by running into the back of someone montoya crashed into kimi in usa 06 and was thus fired(went into retiremet)
