Williams Retain Karthikeyan

Recommended Posts

See that is where you lose credibility

Only with Indians... The rest of us acknowledge the evident control in the record-setting consistency of the Portugese's performance last season.

Monteio is getting owned by Sato for crying out loud. Atleast NK did not have that disgrace on himself

Uhhmm, you'll have to explain the first part. Anyway, even if Monteiro was owned by Sato, Karthikeyan was outperformed by Monteiro.

That's right, I saw more than I needed to of Karthikeyan. Take any lap, even take a single corner and you can tell he lacks car control... If you had any experience in motorsport, even a few years of watching motorsport, you would be able to make the same determination. Provided you weren't blinded by nationalism as you are now.

Indeed. Isn't it strange how many of the Indians are happy to criticise the blind nationalism of the japanese at SA but refuse to see the parallel.

Btw DC's comments on Sato amused me no end. It went roughly: "for once we were on the same piece of track without an incident. He is somewhat eratic."

Eh? How does he deserve credit for having superior reliability?

Perhaps TM was easier on his car: crashing on a straight can't be good for one's car. Thats just an example of it going seriously wrong: over a whole race the portugese clearly was more careful. No doubt the team invested more care in the more able pay driver. Not much point getting a car reliable if it is to be smashed to bits anyway. I also observed his superior team building skills week in week out. In any case, asians generally have poor reliability so it was to be expected.

Driving within the limits of his car? Blind luck?

Sh#t happens, happened more to NK that year. Excluding driver errors, I remember at least 3 races where he did not finish due to circumstances beyond his control - couldn't have matched Monteiro's record even if he had driven like him. Look up Bahrain, Silverstone and Istanbul last year if you are interested, driving over the limit of your car doens't usually make you retire from electrical problems on lap 2..

That would do it.

No doubt the reason why the team gave the precious 'B' chassis that was available to the Portugese first... despite his lesser financial contribution to the team, I might add.

Excluding driver errors

Is that how you preface all your Karthikeyan analysis? No wonder then...

Seeing the frequency with which Nico Rosberg crashes/takes out others,it would be far better to give NK a drive. Honest. No kidding.

I believe that you believe your opinion to be true. In fact, it doesn't even surprise me that you believe this... You Indians are something else.

There is not a single thread where I have trashed him 'unjustifiably' as you say.

You are very clever with words, which is the only thing I can say about you, and typically you skirted the core issue, which is that you stated that your posts on NK were what - "In response to the sensationalist rubbish your lot posted". That my friend is a damned lie, I agree with Cav. You yourself have started most of the posts on NK.

Ah, how we have to come up with vague and untruthful statements and excuses to support carelessly mouthed, irrational, irrelevant and unsupportable crap

You were done with Murray? That's rich.

What, do we have some kind of mutual behind kissing society going on here ??

:P

I did look, and throughout the season, my expert eyes saw that Monteiro had the better control of the EJ15. Certainly the Jordan was a difficult car for the two rookies to drive but Monteiro nevertheless set an astonishing, record level of consistency for a rookie in it. Karthikeyan on the other hand was erratic and this is reflected in the oft-repeated sentiment among his fans (the Indians) that he is "quick but erratic".

Au contraire, mon ami. I can justifiably say that Karthikeyan lacks car control - see above. Now, I don't think we'll be seeing Karthikeyan in the Williams next year as you suggest because, unless you know something I don't, he will again be filling the role of PR representative to Tata on the testing team. This position doesn't generate much television coverage outside of, presumably, paid advertising in India...

yep! ofcourse he had a better control!

yeah, thats because he drove like a school girl! nk looked ragged because el15 was very hard to control beyond a limit, your expert eyes are just blind, blinded by nk's dark skin :P

Whatever he did, he did better and that's what matters.

You guys throw around these accusations of racism like it's nothing... It makes a joke out of it when in reality racism is not a laughing matter. You should be ashamed of yourself.

you call the IAF "lowly" just because it is Indian, without even knowing what kind of fighter pilotsaand planes make up the IAF. one thing is certain you are Anti Indian maybe because some thinng (MISHAP) in your childhood had some dangerous Indian connection thereby affecting your Psyche <_< thats why they try to laugh when you post these racist remarks, knowing that you have this inferiority complex which needs to come out in some form ,somewhere.

Not necessarily that NK should be the one replacing . Any guy who drives better than Crashberg will do.

bajo! what the ....? comon man! just kidding! didnt you see the smily?? :P

look! its ok if u keep trashing nk everytime you get a chance, i some times enjoy your foolish remarks, oops, your expensive/ sophisticated research crap on him. these days i only laugh at your remarks, you never give up, but dont think the indians(except for loser) would give up that fast! :mf_tongue:

to be honest, right now he is the best we have to offer and it hurts when someone says wrong things about him, he only looked agressive because he was pushing the car beyond what it was capable of, we have even watched him over take saubers, he pushed just like how few great champs pushed when they drove under performing cars, it worked for them(champs) but it didnt work for him(nk)...thats it!

crashberg!!!!! :lol::P
