The World Champion Speaks

Recommended Posts

I want to thank all the team for the work done, and what way better than to finish as champion in the two last seasons. I want to thank all the team, all the drivers, Flavio, Fisichella and also to Michelin and Renault for the way they've confronted things. My companions and my people deserve everything. The best moment of the season was in Barcelona, with all the Spanish fans. I believe that time puts everyone in their place and I believe that justice has been done. This year there has been some strange decisions, for that reason I have learned that integrity and the fair play finaliy overcome

:worshippy:

Ok, lemme save our fellow FA-haters some typing:

"Oh yes but he didn't say that after China and he is alway whinning and Schumacher never ever cheated and he won 7 cups and boohoo Alonso is always complaining boohoo he won because he complains nothing else and blah blah blah"

(I guess I know what will come to me after this... :banned22: )

Sorry! I could not resist! I know it's unfair but what the heck!

Always bitter, always the wronged one, always the sole representative of good against evil, triumphing when his team, his teammate and eHe is probably indisputably the biggest whiner in the sport now.

QO, at least don't pretend to be anything other than the troll that you are.

I don't know about this but his comments do seem in poor form... Anyway, at least his actions during the season were not in poor form like his championship rival's were.

Ah, how cuddly and perfectly Hollywood. We can all walk out of the cinema with a lovely warm feeling in our tummies.

Personally i would have preferred the Martin Scorsese ending; Michael beats Fernando 'round the head with a baseball bat and buries him alive.........

 Yes the evil one's failed to rule the world...!!!Thanks Fernando!Maybe he should start wearing Superman overalls now that the truth has come out.He is a superhero!!There is no use in hiding it any more!!

1) If you did not like the joke it would have been enough for you to point that, but I have the unnerving suspicion you did not even notice that I was joking

2) I laughed many times reading attacks on FA either because they were actually funny or because they were actually true. F1 is a passion, but it still all about watching a race and enjoying a good time. Forums are about discussing over F1 related issues, knowing ppl around the world and learn new points of view. This is not a battle, just a dialogue.

3) You seem to confuse "Supporting a Driver" with "Jihad"...

4) Yes I am a troll...so what? :P

3) Well if that doesn't ruffle a few prayer mats, I'll eat my underpants :D

Every post you make comes with a disclaimer and premature apologies, and now you say it was a joke. Either have the nerve to stand up for what you say or don't say it. It wasn't a joke, it was a dig, the same one you make with every single one of your posts, the joke gets old.

I simply liked Alonso's quote. I don't actually believe Ferrari or Michael Schumacher are the cinematic 'bad guys'. I would cast the FIA in the role of the Empire and Max Mosely in the role of the Emperor.

Do you think that Michael might be Fernando's father?

I agree, IMO the statement wasn't directed at Ferrari and Michael rather at the FIA itself. The FIA would be too far stuck up themselves to even realise :D

The problem with that quote is of course, that it is a sport again now that he has won. The credibility of the sport rests on whether he wins, if he doesn't, it's not a sport. What he should be doing along with his team is apologising for his comments made earlier - if there was a conspiracy against them, they would not have won. Now that they have won, they want all the credit and glory, if they lost they had their excuses in beforehand.

Alonso is a sore winner, if you thought there is no such thing, there is now.

Interesting take on it. To me, his comments clearly mark out two intances of FIA rulings that were unsporting and obviously favored Ferrari. To have a governing body come in and monkey with the rules, mid-season, is not very sporting. Even Williams were allowed to finish their season with active-ride before it was banned. Alonso's comments were, to me, saying that he won despite unsporting behaviour by the FIA.

I'm sure the FIA could do nothing about the turn of luck that saw Michael's engine blow-up. Had they been able to mandate that, I'm sure Michael would have taken that race, and the title. By the time Brazil swung around, there were accusations against the FIA left and right...and I'm sure they felt that to try anything else...'shady'...would be taking it too far.

Nah, Webbo is Solo. Could JPM be Jabba the Hut?
