devilsinskirts 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2006 Unashamedly ripped straight out of Wikipedia. "Curiously, Ferrari won the 1964 World championship with John Surtees by competing the last two races in cars painted white and blue, as these were not entered by the Italian factory themselves, but the US-based NART team." Yes, They were white and blue! Although the wikipedia story is incorrect... The actual reason was that Enzo Ferrari was in conflict with the Italian sporting authority, after they brought out a law saying all Italian teams could only use the Italian motorsport colour of red, So to prove a point and show his disapproval of this law his team Ferrari raced in the colours of blue and white for 2 races. Maybe its a trick question, Senna died after being extracted from the car. Who was the last death before Roland Ratzenberger? was it Elio De Angelis in the Brabham?
