ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 Well apparently it is supposed to be spelt footie, my mistake. Footy is a bogan version used to denote that sorry excuse for a sport AFL is THE most popular form of football in Australia and is a very fast paced game with plenty of action. Just because you didnt bother to open up to new ideas is no excuss to insult what you do not understand.

ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 This is blasphemy talking about some fag game with a out of shape ball played in Australia in a thread meant to be on the greatest game on earth! I didnt bring it up but AFL is a great sport and while it isnt anything like other forms of Football it is still a amazing spectacle. As a New Zealand comedian once said "AFL is where the rules of other sports have come to die"

pabloh20 1 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 Well apparently it is supposed to be spelt footie, my mistake. Footy is a bogan version used to denote that sorry excuse for a sport Exsqueezeme?? Footie?? You would have to pronounce that as foo (rhyming with do) tee. That's just wrong - you can't shout to your mates 'do you want a game of footie?' You'd be lambasted and quite rightly so!! We invented the game, we invented the slang term for it - you're quite right, Cav, it's 'footy' and any other spelling is just ykick's warped view of the world!! HAHAHAHHAHAHA, REALLY! What do you mean all the stick Liverpool fans gave you? There's only 1 of me on here and I believe it was you and ctrl300 who brought up the issue of ownership originally in reference to who Liverpool's new owners might be!! Anyway, whoever buys us doesn't alter the fact that you were bought by a yank with a very dodgy finance deal!!
devilsinskirts 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2006 Here is a picture of Liverpools soon to be new owner. That is Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, owner of countless winners of European Classic horse races (except The Derby) and I'm not entirely certain why his attempt to purchase Liverpool FC is quite so amusing to some on here.
