Autumnpuma 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Except a reputation can come back to bite you in the arse. If all Australians had the reputation as a rugged, women-swooning ranchers (as you put it) then think how disappointed everyone will be when they find out 99.94% of us arnt like that at all. Hopefully you will have gotten the lady to bed before she finds that out!!

Autumnpuma 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Yeah, we've bought heavily into the Aussie stereotype. The girls here in Kalifornia even like goatees. You're in, my friend.
goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 Sorry for the late reply. The problem with "but" is that "because" would make more sense surely? Picky, Picky Picky.... It was meant to be a but since i wanted to saw DO NOT take your children to 300 or women(they will most likely drag you out) to the movie or guys thus i said, every guy has to go watch it or download and watch... LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Saw 300. 3 Decapitations, a limb chopped here n there, a few drops of blood splattered & everyone says it's very violent? You gotta be kidding! I have a grouse against the short running time & the limited fighting time. There should have much more action & gore to make the movie more enjoyable. In case you're wondering,no I'm not sarcastic. I liked the movie a lot, but it should have had more action n gore.

LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 Are you sure??? coz they may have cut a few more senses, like his son 's head being chopped off, etc Trust me when I say that not a single violent scene was cut(!). Even for adults? Don't grown-up Indians find that a bit patronising? You said it. Hell, the censorship is reaching stupid proportions. Even HBO is supposed to sterilise all movies. The current health minister of India has a stupid idea of banning smoking scenes in movies. Maybe ,sexual repression is a ploy by the establishment to make us adults sexually frustrated ,thereby forcing us to procreate more & make India numero uno in terms of population. Perhaps that may be true for most religions ,too. Most religions frown upon sexual viewing or impose restrictions on women with a view to encourage more breeding & increase the numbers of the religion. Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 I watched 'the queen' last night. Makes her look like a cold witch, in fact it makes a mockery out of the whole royal family and makes Tony Blair look like an absolute legend. the film should really be called 'Diana: the final hours' or something similar, because the whole film is just about Diana, the queen is more of a support role! LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted April 19, 2007 I am thinking of making a movie with the members of this forum as the cast. I can think of a few tailor-made roles : Cavallino can be a lawyer who never loses an argument ,in the movie. With his gift of the gab ,he can essay the role with ease. Dribbler can provide the laughs with his funny one-liners & comic timing. Katy H (Priscilla) & Kay Zee can be the eye candy with minimal or no dialogues. Hey girls, there're no strings attached to acting in my movie. No casting couch. Murray Walker can be the narrator. There's no other role for him, since we've never seen him. Pumpdoc can act the dirty old man with a foul mouth. Jenson_Rules(Ben) is fit for the role of an alcoholic. He just has to be himself. goferrarigo (Ankit) can be the naive ,gullible guy. What about me? I don't know what I suit. I have left out a lot of members here. Please do suggest suitable roles for yourselves. Hey ,there no pushing & shoving ! Get in line.
