Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 i saw spiderman 3 as well yesterday, i really liked it. The special effects are fantastic as you'd expect, and having 3 villains is good. I doubt they'll make any more cos the story ended pretty nicely, there's no issues that still need to be resolved!

I heard that the acter of Spiderman (Toby something) is not interested in doing more Spiderman maovies. Though they could do what the Batman producers did and change actor i suppose. Kati 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 In a braz magazine, they interviewed the main actors (tobey maguire, kirsten dunst and the two vilains - guess one is called james franco, not sure...) and they all said they could do a new movie if the director was the same and if it made sense (not just something to get millions...) Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2007 there's just no need for any more spidey movies, they've used all the main villains, and (not wanting to spoil the ending) the storylines are completely resolved at the end of spiderman 3. the spidey movies are great but 3 is enough, as it was for the matrix, lord of the rings, and many more! Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2007 I wish a movie on Charlie Brown,Snoopy & co . would be made. I'd simply love it! there was an animated movie about 15 years ago, in fact there may be more than 1. Charlie Brown is hardly adrenaline-packed action though! DanielB 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Spider-Man 3 is excellent - seen it twice and it improves on a 2nd viewing. As a fan of the Comic books, I have a few grumbles about the accuracy and screentime of one of the villains, but other than that, it's a great movie. There are some amazing effects and beautiful cinema in there too. Perhaps not quite as good as the 2nd film, but still very good and worth a watch IMO. As i was leaving the cinema i did hear a few people muttering about how they would have liked to have seen more of Venom. I never really read the comics so dont really know much about the villains anyway
DanielB 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Venom it is. Without wishing to spoil the film for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, they have really missed the boat with this character. In the comics, he's probably Spider-Man's most dangerous enemy, and Eddie and Peter also hate each other on a personal level. Their rivally wasn't built up enough, and their fight was over far, far too quickly. Venom is quicker and stronger than Spider-Man, and is immune to many of his powrs because the Alien bonded with Peter first, and so knows his strengths and weaknesses (e.g. he doesn't set off Parker's "Spider Sense"). Ignoring the story errors, they still got the details of the Venom character wrong. Firstly, he never at any stage says that he's called Venom - he's an unnamed villian. Secondly, he doesn't talk with a monsters voice like he should do when he has his face covered, and finally, he doesn't refer to himself as "we" or "our" as he does in the comics ("we" being Eddie and the Alien/Symbiote, which together make Venom).
