I think Webbo could have waited for the season to start before he could slam a team like Williams. Webbo always ends up in a wrong team at the wrong time. Lets see how would Redbull perform with a Renault engine behind, and lets see how silent would Webbo get once Williams show a clean pair of bridgestones and Redbulls being outperformed!

I've never been a huge fan of Webber. He is entitled to his opinions, but I find he does talk a bit too much for my liking.

Kay zee...he did slam Heidfeld when they were with Williams. he said 'he just sits there..' referring to him not trying to pass anyone.

funny..Heidfeld was in total control when he 'hurt his shoulder' on his bike accident. that is the only reason why Webber finished higher than him.

I've been a Williams fan for years, I just hope they can get it together this year. Poetic justice would be Williams thumping Red Bull this year, regardless of his comments.

Webber should shut the hell up. Why is he burning bridges. He has to know that it isn't Williams fault that he didn't perform well.

In 2005, he was out paced by Nick H a lot of time. In 2006 Nico R, a rookie out paced him like half of the year. Nico is showing a bright future even being at Williams. Nick got drafted to a big budget team. He's just bitter cause he sucks.

Now what the hell is he saying about Williams being Toyota B team. Frank Williams is a man that's all about the passion for racing. He's not going to let his team be no sister team to another. If it was like that, then he would had sold his team to BMW a long time ago.

Maybe he should go to Nascar so he can have less thing to gripe about.

Sure, I am willing to agree with you, Maybe Webber is right, Williams will crash and burn when the seasons starts, but dude he is driver with a job to do, and he better focus on getting Redbull up and running than waste his focus on a former team. Now Webber is coming out in full public view and bashing Williams, his former team that will in no way benefit his current cause. Its not like he is taunting his current team to perform better (Like Alonso did at the end of the season by making remarks about Renault's commitment). In the end all he will achieve is get the F1 paddock to give him glares everytime something goes wrong with RB3 (every likely) and something good happens to Williams (very likely). Maybe he is a masochist and wants such a negative glare to perform. But in the case he is not, his comments about Williams and their deal with Toyota and the internal structure about Williams are just in poor taste!

You maybe right, the whole paddock might be pre-occupied with hoping for Mark's downfall. I suspect though that they don't give a damn. We pounce on comments like this because they are the only sound bites we can judge a person on. Mark has opinions, so what? Every idiot up and down the pit lane has them too. At the end of the day the real talking will be done on the track and if Mark delivers this year it won't really matter what he says to anyone. If he doesn't, then he's a gobby fool with no place in the sport.

Bashing? I don't see bashing. If he made points with no reasoning then ok, but he justified them all with his reasoning, just because that reasoning does not suit your own opinion doesn't mean it isn't reasoning all the same.

Focus on F1? Lots of drivers do things outside of F1 and this interview was probably part of his PR work, which is F1, therefore he has to spend his time making comments.

People should think back to Webber interviews on TV, he hardly ever offends then, in fact I've heard many laugh at some of his honest, open remarks. Written down something takes on a whole new life, because half of the meaning is lost when it is no longer in context. You can take a joke seriously, or you can lose sarcasm. Purposely or accidently.

I also think it is funny people call it bashing when he is openly admitting he would have loved to spend the REST of his career with them, perhaps people need to see through the tabloid trickery and think as to how Mark would speak such things.

I'm behind Webber too, but making those comments atleast gives us something to talk about.

I'd say he and Nick were very similar, and the way things turned out, Mark's loyalty didn't pay off and Nick got the better deal elsewhere. He's had very little success so far and he's bound to feel a little annoyed.

I may be somewhat biased as I am not really a fan of the Williams team anymore.
