Ralfy And Mclaren

Recommended Posts

Maybe there are some issues open and not so secured as DC think there are (i.e. Loopholes, as a demotion to STR is still accepting the word of the conrtact but not the thought)

Yes They replaced DC with JPM, and since they did that, they obviously thought JPM was better than DC, so.... Y have a recall?

Well why not?

I wrecon DC has improved as a driver since he has left Macca and he does tick all the boxes for me.

Experienced, quick, witty, Wily, sly, Great for the sponsers, brillant role model, someone Lewis can Properly look up to as a Team-mate and be Proud. and he is THE British driver that brings the car home and scores the points...

And Call backs aren't unheard of.

what about Call Back king Gerhard Berger with Ferrari? 87-89 then 93-95?

And Then with benetton from 85-86 then 96-97?

Michele Alboreto with Tyrrell?

80-83 I think then again 89?

DC's manager Martin Brundle with Brabham?

89 then again in 91?

Or what about the best example in this conversation Nigel Mansell whose in a similar Position with Williams who drove for them in his younger years from 85-88 then he came out again when he was destined from retirement (Like DC) and came out and Brained them in 1992 which is something that David Coulthard has been promising us for 15 years.

Hey hey it took Nigel 12 years.

Thats Game, Set, Match to Bro. B)

Fisichella to McLaren.

I think that this works rather well.

Unlikely for both him and Ralf but Fisi beats Ralf easily.

Yep I'd like to see Kova versus Hamilton, a nice pairing for Mclaren.

My comment wasn't meant as a joke! :)Although maybe this means that everyone rates Webber over Alonso...

Well who dosent?

Name me one person apart from you Sunshine who dosent rate Mark higher than Nando.

Me, my mum, my tortoise (actually I lied I don't have a tortoise and my mum does not watch F1)

I think you may find you are more in the minority than you realise.....

Not doubting that he is fast, because he has shone.... sometimes - I will always remember the infamous points-paying job he did for Minardi.... BUT he appears to me to be inconsistent. Or fights his way up the grid in qualifying and fails to deliver as expected. To me he is another in the Jenson vein - you can see they are fast. however..... something eludes them.

OK, the arguments go - stick him in a Mclaren/Ferrari and he would be on a par with <insert name of favourite fast driver>. Maybe but I would argue that you could say that about many drivers. The differential between the best F1 drivers is tenths of a second and I reckon he would give Massa, for example a run for his money in the same car.

I don't believe, however that he is quite as fast as Alonso, Hamilton, Raikonnen or possibly Kubica. They all seem to have that little "je ne said quoi" that puts them slightly above the others. Maybe its their composer, their style, aggressiveness??

Recently there have been no call backs... You are talking about things 10 Years ago atleast.... And a all British Team with British drivers is not good for sponsership. You get more money if 2 drivers have different nationality....

I think you'll find it is Wing Commander Andy Green, driver of the Thrust SSC land-speed record holder :)

Actually.... its Grk Ng Targ a martian, in the Marsclaren who fought off Ag ln Srg to win the championship in the thin martian atmosphere. Ag complained that "it was not fair" as Grk was the team's favourite so he went off and smashed up his spaceship :)

The thing that makes it a little different is that DC and Lewis are very Marketable as well I suppose. Especially DC's Beard.

Well Sauber in 2003 Had an all german Line-up and that worked at treat.

Lasted all of 2003 and then they both got the sack

But in terms of recent call backs, Nick Heidfeld 2001-2003 then 2006-? with? you guessed it, Sauber.

Ralf Schumacher and Giancarlo Fisichella With Jordan in 1997 and they are extremely Likely to become team- Mates again next Season for a Revised Jordan.

Um Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen got call up's recently to sample the New cars of their old/successful team's.

Fisi got a call up when he drove for Benetton from 98-01 then again for a revised Benetton from 05 - ?

Fisi got a call Back from Eddie in 02.

Oh, how could I possibly forget, Mark Webber who drove for Jaguar from 03-04 then he made a comeback like a champion to a Revised Jaguar from 07 -Life.

Now thats Game, Set and Match to? Bro.

7-6, 6-7, 6-7, 7-6, (7-6 50-48)

Gerat game Ferrari though, Go Ferrari GO, you seem gracious in defeat.

Hmmmmm, I think you may have missed the point with all of this, personally.

You need to have a look back and see how many times McLaren have had call backs on drivers, as surely this is the only relative team to discuss in this regard and much more of an accurate indication ? I have no idea, offhand, but I am sure you will soon find out :D

As well as a few others, it seems. Why do you call me sunshine? Strangest nickname I've ever had...

Well by my count it's 6-3 in favour of Fernando, so he wins, which means I win :victory::1st:

BTW, despite any past events, DC isn't going to Mclaren :)
