Of course maure tends to give as good as he gets, but still. Anyway, nowt wrong with the keyboard jousting, just when it escalates and threads get locked. To my mind, this is one reason why rules about insulting/swearing are pointless. You can't enforce genuine kindness with rules. With a modicum of intelligence you can insult someone just as spitefully and cruelly without breaking any rules anyone is going to come up with. In a sense it's more honest just to swear/insult and be done with it. Truth.KingAlonso was temporarily banned because he didn't have a sense of humour and made insulting (although not all that offensive) posts against quite a lot of people, with no good provocation. His excuse is that he is probably quite young and got some growing up to do, not sure what some people's excuse is around here for all the BS with maure. Winding each other up is fun for a while but I think it is quite detrimental to discussions, so it's better to find a different way of communicating with different forum members. Sadly I think this forum's relationship with maure is probably too far gone now. Fwiw I regretted KingAlonso being banned. No they don't get banned just for being Alonso's fans, they should be banned for that but actually they don't get banned for that, the thing is taht they really believe that Alosno is that good, some of them even dare to say that he is the best in the grid today and there are a few ones who actually believe that he is the all time best driver, then race day comes and they don't have any argument to support their belief and that is causing all kind of discussions between Alonso's fan and the rest of us who know that Alonso isn't the best, we try to preach them the truth, the real gospel of Kimi but they don't listen and go to the extreme of trying to find unexistent miraculous sign in FA's races to try to make us see that he is the chosen one, I know how they feel and that is why trying with them, because I know they will miss all the fun is they keep thinking like that about Alonso and now that Goferrarigo is posting again my job is a lot easier around here, I feel this is the year when the whole truth about Alonso will come to light, just keep watching the season and you all will see. It affects everybody because the mods have to start locking threads which actually contain interesting discussions. Yes, the line... how many posters have crossed it to never come back. True, their bitterness accretes but it's actually quite contained. Most folks get it. Besides, no harm done. It's all so predictable anyway. Every once in a while, one of them flips out and starts insulting. The other angry smurfs respond to the call of hate and yell a few insults themselves. If you ask them, not one of them can explain what they are after or why they act as they do.
