Hope Macca & Lewis get back on pole & do their winning business.

Expect Macca & RBR to have first rights on podium.

Alonso will go for broke. He's got nothing to lose now. Won't be surprised if he gets a podium.

Will be happy if Sauber get another podium.

We keep on working, we do our thing, Vettel shouts over the team radio,We are who we are!

"Vettel is a champion. That’s not referring to his achievements, but rather to his approach to everything he does. He wins. All the time. His preparation is meticulous, his attention to detail reminiscent of Michael Schumacher at his peak, and his performance on the track is almost always flawless. Vettel is capable only of domination. He knows no other way... Vettel is not in Formula One to be liked. He is there to win. And in the words of Ayrton Senna, perhaps the greatest of all Formula One drivers, “Nice men don’t win.”"

I didn't see last year's race in Korea, all new circuit for me. But as you've said, it's McLaren and RBR all the way and "let's see what we can salvage" for the rest.

+1 for a Sauber on the podium, and then a Lotus too, please :P

I fear a Red Bull 'demonstration of utter superiority fest'.

Conventional wisdom would suggest that this unorthodox season has finally settled into some sort of predictable order and that it's Seb's for the taking. I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that there is still a sting in the tail and that Alonso can take it to the wire, with Lewis right there in the mix. Either way, if Sebastian does run and hide in the remaining races, this season will still be regarded as a classic.

Yup, Seb's Grand Chelem was not a good omen for  the future. Not much to do against a car that is almost half a sec or more faster than the rest of the field. Maybe it was a combination of circunstances that won't repeat, but if RBR is back on form I would not count on Seb making any mistake.

Only scenarios ("If only...") that could pose some challenge:

1) Alonso on a McLaren.
2) Kimi on a Ferrari
3) Lewis on a RBR
4) Maldonado in an McLaren and Grosjean in the sister Red Bull, and both starting alongside and behind Vettel.

Oh, and something to make it easier to drive around those chicanes. I don't like the chicanes no, no! Fernando likes them. With some olive oil. He always uses olive oil you can tell when your car is approaching his from a mile because of the stench!
And what about some "easy" settings? Y'know, like videogames. And a tutorial!

Rob, help me here!

Very good picture. Never saw so many F1 drivers around a table before a GP.

Alonso maybe believes on his title chances but his words sound like Domenicali usual PR talking before the boat sinks.

Twice denounced before the Inquisition, he was imprisoned for "heresy," though he returned to the University to later hold the chairs of Moral Philosophy and Biblical Studies.

Tradition has it that he began his lecture the first day after returning from four years' imprisonment with the words "as we were saying yesterday..."

Vettel & RBR are looking strong, though Macca is slightly ahead in long run pace. Puzzling why Hamilton struggled in FP2. Mercedes may garner some decent points.

By the way, Schumi said Vettel's now the clear favourite for the WDC.

So after doing some reading on the track, did i get this right: The Koreans built a $250 million track to host only a formula one GP each year? As far as I can tell there are ZERO other events that take place here.

I have to hand it to Bernie on this one. He went to the koreans and said: "I have a briudge to sell you...." And they actually bought it.

The Ferrari doesn't look as horrible on the timesheets as I expected it to be, but good enough just won't be.  I figure a Vettel retirement will be the only way Alonso really gets back in this, but every prediction I've made this year was wrong, so who knows?

If Alonso can qualify 3rd, and can somehow beat Vettel in the early stages he is very capable of holding onto it until the finish. Again, any margin for errors is a luxury the RBRs enjoyed but he cannot, and Vettel is not the guy to look forward for errors once he gets on pole. Even if he wins, unless it is coupled with a Seb's DNF, Vettel will be too close for comfort considering the differences between the RBR and the Ferrari.

Odd to see someone other than Vettel or Hamilton on pole. Interesting that leading 4 guys are lined up one after other. Should be a good battle. Kimi ahead of Grosjean, nice.

Unhappy that Schumi didn't qualify ahead of Rosie. Hope he finishes ahead in the race, though.
