Well well well. Though the outcome is the same, I seem to rem having a discussion in some topic about how Jension would not be in a Williams for 2006. It was a 180 though in that I was saying Williams wouldn't want him and he wouldn't get the seat. Well Williams pretended they wanted him and got some sweet cash to help their sorrows lol. Jenson will eventually feel like JV after all those years he spent in BAR trying to make a team who had the potential actually achieve something. I fear BAR 2006 will be just as good as BAR 2005 which isnt' saying much. How after their good year in 2004 did they arrive at this point?

Oh well, Jenson's a BAR man and Nick Fry can kiss his all all he wants now. He's got his man. Can't wait for Barrichello to pull one out of the hat and surprise everyone.

he has been consistently beter than his teammate and outqualified the jordans on occasion though.

no he is being beaten by his new teammate Doorknobs the last few races. He has made amateur errors atleast twice this season. He has only outqualified the Jordans once on a similar fuel load, in Montreal I think.

edit: I don't see why people are surprised about this. If Button had indeed driven for Williams, both sides would have had to eat a lot of their words. Too much water had gone by under the bridge, Button driving for BAR was virtually impossible.

Funny, BAR have had a great car for the last two seasons yet Jenson still cant get on the top step of the podium, I think he is a good driver, but not yet a great driver, why pay so much for a "good" driver that has not proved yet any winning ways in 98 starts all with very strong teams (Williams,Bennetton/Renault and BAR)???

To suggest that Button should have won in the 00 williams, 01 benetton, 02 renault, 03 BAR shows how little you know. if you don't think buttons proved anything, then you wouldnt know a good driver if he came and slapped you across the face

dream on monty. BAR will be a huge force next year, they have honda backing/honda ownership of which really want to win the championship, a very good and a good driver, and plenty of money and facilities! Williams will be battling with redbull1 and BMW! BAR willo be battling right at the front!

History is all well and good, look what has happened to many teams before, winning WCC's then falling into sharp decline! Im not attacking williams as such, just the fact they are no lonmger a strong enough team! They are too old and need to completely refresh themselves! They also will need a manufacturer backing, which they no longer have!

And btw, Germany is a richer nation than the UK jemstride, we are the second in europe, and 4th in the world

Jenson, remember when after they (Williams) won the world drivers championship with Nelson Piquet, got dumped by Honda when Honda decided to get nice with Ron Dennis. Frank was stuck with Judd engines in the interim and the press said it was the end of Williams........then they hooked up with Renault and put out some of the best cars in racing history. Never count Williams tottaly off, maybe we will not on top in 2006 but we will be for sure one of the top outsiders.
