nojvnof1 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 The 2003 Williams FW 25 was the best package in my belief. It had the superior tyre, a very good engine and a good chassis. As a combination, it was the best. The best car was the Ferrari, no doubt about it, but the BStone tyres stuggled so bad in the unusual heat that it brought it back into the pack and more. Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 well, that has got something to do with who drives the car WHICH IS MY POINT,THOUGH jPM and rALF had the best car they messed up the title challenge both ralf and monty won two races(when they won they were utterly dominant, the credit for which goes to the car So when they won its all the car, when they lose its all the drivers' fault. You clearly know less about f1 than my dog
Wez 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 So when they won its all the car, when they lose its all the drivers' fault. You clearly know less about f1 than my dog Its like Coulthard is British when he wins and Scottish when he's rubbish.

Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 Its like Coulthard is British when he wins and Scottish when he's rubbish. Hey no-one says that, DC is british!! Altho I expect scots will always say he's scottish
Wez 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 Hey no-one says that, DC is british!! Altho I expect scots will always say he's scottish Well Irvine at least was nearly British in 1998.

Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 it is not just their wins but how DOMINANT they were when they won... [/quote so how come when they don't win its the drivers fault? The drivers were clearly capable of winning, so when they didnt win surely its the cars fault for not being fast enough?

narain fan 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 so how come when they don't win its the drivers fault? The drivers were clearly capable of winning, so when they didnt win surely its the cars fault for not being fast enough? let me explain .... this year when JPM attempted to make a pass on "FA" at sstone they almost touched wheels... also the move in brazil was quite aggressive...it was FA'S responsibility to see to it that he didnt crash into monty, bcoz monty woulkd be aggressive ,as he had nothing to lose.. now, with this background think about indy 03 the situation was the reverse...monty crashed....and so his title hopes were dashed

Were they all the drivers' fault?

Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 there was oneMS and KR who were much " better " in terms of driver ability You keep changing the subject, we're talking about the 2003 williams here!!! Your original statement was that it was the best car, and I questioned that, we're not talking about MS & KR (who are incidentally 2 people, not 1)

Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 And I'm saying that the williams was not the class of the field. 2003 races were largely down to tyres. williams not winning the 2003 title was definately not down to the drivers. we will never agree! I just dont think theres evidence to show that the williams was the best car

YHR 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2006 25 January 2006 Just for fun I am going to make my predictions, based on the little testing I have seen to date WDC MS FA JB FM RB GF From here down it is going to be a real dogfight. I think the BMW package is strong and any of the following drivers could be at the top or bottom of this next group. I think Mclaren got it wrong this year. KR JV JPM NH RS JT DC CK This group will be together MW NR SS Liuzzi Monterio Albers WCC Ferrari Renault Honda These guys will really be mixing it up McLaren Toyota BMW Williams The rest. RB1 RB2 Midland
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2006 i quite agree with you there! Do you think JB will win a race this year?
YHR 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2006 i quite agree with you there!Do you think JB will win a race this year? For himself and his fans, I sure hope he does. It would be devasting to him personally if RB won and he didn't. I don't think that will happen. If RB can win in a Honda there is no reason why JB can't. He is technical and very smooth. He should be able to win if he has the car to do it.
