Alonso The Great.

""The FIA therefore wrote to three McLaren drivers (Mr. Alonso, Mr. Hamilton and Mr. de la Rosa) to establish whether or not this allegation had any basis in fact and requested that they produce copies of any relevant documents, including any electronic communications (howsoever conveyed or stored) which may be relevant to this case and which make reference to Ferrari, Ferrari

Well, yes! Alonso is a 2 times WDC (Whining Driver's Champion) after all. He has the experience! Things gone awry, though, when a Ferrari emplyee passed a 780 page manual with all the secrets about Ferraris whines. Apparently, things went like this:

FA: Pedro, it would be very important if we could get our hands on Ferrari's whinings. Things will get tough and I need to know how to whine in the following races.

PDLR: No problem, Nando, Mike has just passed me the info. They are going for two moanings and cries of unfairness in the next race.

FA: Good. Now I will see with my engineer if we should go for a single long whine or make two short ones.

PDLR: We should run it through the simulator.

FA: Ok. Let me know how it goes.

Lewis, meanwhile, was worried. His "the team has done a fantastic job" strategy didn't adapt well to the last tracks. As Nando didn't let him see his whining strategy, he decided to contact other guys with expertise: he went for Fisichella and Trulli.

When this all went public, Dennis denied it: "We never used any of Ferrari's whinings in our cars. We have our own specialists for that. Maybe some of them acted wrong, but you can't prove we copied Ferrari".

The FIA, after receiving some evidence in contrary (namely, Alonso complained that "he does not feel supported by Jean Todt") decided that McLaren actually used Ferrari's material.

The rest of the story is well-known.

He did apologise for his whining, something which Alonso has never done....

He did apologise for his whining whe he had that argument at Nurburgring, just at the press conference he apologised to Massa.

Go on with the Hamilton=God and Alonso=Evil thing.

Pathetic!

True... I absolutelly agree FA is a real whiner (like quiet one has just demonstrated :clap3: ) but well those who say this is the first time Hammy whines and cries have weak memories. LH learns really fast mates, the good and the bad things :naughty: The point and what i find quite miserable from him is the moment he has choosen to say this. Fernando was for sure agressive but this guy should watch his starts (i don't mean he' s a dirty racer, he's agressive and i aplusse him for it, just like i applause Fernando's action yesterday) Don't know what will happen but what Fernando is dooing in the last races with the pressure he's getting from the media and his team is absolutellly remarkable. The rookie is not in Fernando's league, not yet. Fernando is in a league of his own

I love when the people here underlines the fact both FA and PDR are spanish... that's exactly what the biassed spanish media have been saying since Monaco. McLaren si a british team where 90 % of the employees are british... If we have to use your logic i think Fernando has have to endured a lot this year (and it seems he has)

Hamilton started it at Monaco.

Yeah forgot about that one.... my bad, but still Alonso has far more under his belt than lewis can ever have

He even apologised to this Alonso comment...

Hey until Hamilton and Alonso aren't in Ferrari's both are evil... I have always said Hamilton is not as innocent as he looks in the spy scandal, check my posts....

As someone said in another thread, Hamilton is young. He's got a lot to learn about humility and respect.

Alonso is a two time world champion and acts like a spoiled kid. He's a full on shitbrick.

Don't believe me? Refresh your memory.

Couple this with everything else we've seen this season and his character is becoming clear. I'm not a huge fan of Hamilton - he's commercial and boring - but at least he's not a blatant knobhead.

Let me just start by saying that I can't stand drivers who whine. Hamilton is not much better in this respect, than Nando. When will drivers ever learn that they have to do their 'whining' on the track. Hamilton is aggressive, but fair I think, so he should accept aggressive but fair moves on himself without bleating about it.

To the part in bold - bollocks! I'm not being funny, but if you think Nando has had to endure a lot then you and he should take a look at the real world. I am sure there are many examples in the motor sports world, but the example I am going to pick is Alex Zanardi - he has had to endure a lot. However, having to endure a bit of F1 politics sh!te, please give me a break. This is especially so as it seems at least some of the sh!te is self-inflicted.

Ok, sorry about that. I was a bit too annoyed with all the biased comments I had read before...

It was rremde who posted this article but I think it is a good picture of the situation so far: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport...one/6998040.stm

 I was being ironic... I'm not the one who is saying that FA and PDR are spanish in order to justify the conspirancy theory, i just was pointing how easy would be for me using the fact McLaren is british to talk crap. Of course a lot of people has to endure a lot more than these rich boys (i'm sure than you and me are both among them!!!) Actually sometimes i think i'm stupid when i get grumpy for these kind of things, as if i would have not more things in my life to be "worried" about

To be fair to Lewis the Nando move was overly aggressive and could have resulted in a crash - Nando gave him no track room whatsoever and contrasts with a similar move Lewis did on Massa where Lewis gave Massa at least a car's length of room.

It's all going to end in tears as Lewis is trying to play a team game while Nando is focused on the WDC - Lewis needs to forget about the team and concentrate on the championship as there does not appear to be any advantage in towing the team line. The team will give the drivers equality regardless of how Nando behaves, so what is the point?

Look after No1 Lewis.

I disagree. Why should Fernando have compromised his exit at La Source? That's exactly what would have happened if he had turned tighter and scrubbed off speed. He knew Lewis would be agressive, he knew Lewis was coming round the outside and he knew that Lewis had got room on the run off. It wasn't a big deal, they both dealt with it like men and it's not an issue.

Lewis isn't prioritising the interests of the team over his own. He is there to drive for himself and that's exactly what he's doing. I don't see how Lewis is 'playing the team game', as you put it.

Well one thing I can say without doubt is that had the FIA not pulled that joke of a penalty on Alonso in Hungary, Alonso would have won the race instead of Lewy and would be in control of the championship... The FIA always put themselves first ;)

And Ferrari... :naughty:
