Quiet One 15 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 Lewis Hamilton left onlookers bewildered on Thursday as he hung from a wire amid the backdrop of a huge Trojan horse on a Turkish theatre stage. As reported, the McLaren driver was making a guest appearance at 'Troya'; an historical theatre show by a local folkdance troupe, before moving on to Istanbul to prepare for this weekend's grand prix. But rather than donning the historic garb of Troya's actors, the 23-year-old was decked out in his sponsor-laden formula one overalls and swung around the stage attached to a wire. British newspaper The Times' F1 correspondent Ed Gorman watched Hamilton's antics and described it as "an extremely odd occasion". A columnist for the publication then wrote: "The horse Hamilton should be worrying about is the prancing one of Ferrari". A reader, meanwhile, wrote on the Times' website: "He is acting like a plonker. I can't imagine Schumacher or Senna debasing themselves with such a stunt." ***************************************************** Source Video For once, I have nothing to say... Eric 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 The only thing more gay than people in tights "fighting" is watching Lewis Hamilton float in the beginning of that video. What...the...****...? Lewis stumbling on the landing wasn't too good, either. But Lewis just floating by so slowly makes me laugh. But just, what the ****?! And they are right, Schumacher never would've done this in McLaren gear. But he may have in a Ferrari suit...
dribbler 6 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 And they are right, Schumacher never would've done this in McLaren gear. But he may have in a Ferrari suit... Maybe not but he wasn't afraid to look a twat in that red wig. Dangling from a wire next to trojan's is quite sensible by comparison. Me and the wife do it all the time. The Rumble Strip 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 Not really his fault though is it. He has corporate responsibilities, the same as drivers did in the 1980's though maybe not as odd.

AleHop 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 Could somebody please translate this? It sounded hilarious! I think it is untranslatable. They answer questions about their cars like ALONSO: Q- How many wheels has got the Renault. A- 4 and the spare one. Q- What air freshener do you use... Pine? Lavender? A- Fish&Chips Eau de Parfum. Q- Spoilers, mp3, smoked windows...? A- No, but whe have Ben-Hur charriot race style hubcaps in case Hamilton is around. Someone translate Kimi? Elgo, Kiko, Katy, ecapdeville... Hamilton's accent is argentinian. Quiet One could translate it better.

freaky2 1 Report post Posted May 11, 2008 Hamilton C'mon guys, let's disappear from here, the FIA people are coming. Ron, hide that! What can I tell you about the new McLaren? Let's say that it's like a Ferrari but better looking, painted silver and red. This year there are a few more extras: portable DVD recorder so my daddy can have a memory of my races; and the guys have put studs on my tires in case I go off in the gravel. And I'll tell you a secret of the car but Ferrari don't have to know: It's not me who drives but in reality there is a remote control so Pedro de la Rosa can drive the car from the box with a Nintendo Wii remote. 'Cos I never know what button to press and then happens what happens. My daddy gave me a picture of him as a present but instead of "Daddy don't speed" written it has "Lewis, don't mess up!" What a joker.
