I'll post an image when I can find one. The Renault R26 with the latest front wing...peak of aero dynamic effeciency and stunningly beautiful curves all around. The McLaren a close 2nd for the rear suspension more then the new paint.

Wouldnt rate anything else as as good looker until back in the 60's, likr the lotus Autumnpuma posted.

Some of the greatest lookers are:

Arrows A2
Lotus 72 (the original)
Tyrrel 006
Ferrari '90
Shadow DN1
Maserati 250F 1957

and some uggly ducks from Ensign N173, ATS HS1, BRM P139, March and Arrows FA1 just to name a few.

For me the great looker of all time is the Lotus 72 because it was a huge step forward related with the other cars of it era.

Although it looks great I think the livery can be attributed to at least 40% of that.

Ul, that Renault shot reminds me of some tatoos I've seen ladies (and I use the term loosely....or perhaps I should say 'loose ladies' :eusa_think: ) sporting just above thier butts.

When the 72 arrived I was 7 years old and it was stunning! If you put it together with the Lotus 49 - Ferrari 312 B1 - March 701 you can see how beatiful it is and how uggly are the others! But for pure beauty I prefer the Ferrari F1-90.

We keep on working, we do our thing, Vettel shouts over the team radio,We are who we are!

"Vettel is a champion. That’s not referring to his achievements, but rather to his approach to everything he does. He wins. All the time. His preparation is meticulous, his attention to detail reminiscent of Michael Schumacher at his peak, and his performance on the track is almost always flawless. Vettel is capable only of domination. He knows no other way... Vettel is not in Formula One to be liked. He is there to win. And in the words of Ayrton Senna, perhaps the greatest of all Formula One drivers, “Nice men don’t win.”"

I'll let you into a secret, I know almost every part on an F1 car, and never heard the term Greeblie until I started reading this forum!

Im still not sure of its origin.

I love the onboard shots of the Renault. I'll try and get some pics of what I mean when I'm awake (3am here right now).

Dan Gurney recently said of the Renault: "If I were a piece of air, I'd love to be driven through by that car!"

Well said, Dan
