Mark Webber drove a flawless race until he came in for slicks. Had he had enough fuel for a few more laps, I reckon he would have come fourth anyway.

Although, if you think about it, if he had been fourth (where Sutil was at the time), then "he" might have been the one that was rear-ended by Kimi!

After his shocking luck over the past few years, Mark's luck has finally arrived.

Yep, nice little run he's having at the moment. IMO he's the driver of the mid-field and maybe driver of the year so far.

Kimi was s##t in Monaco, and a complete idiot to take another driver out. Worse than Sato, possibly the worst driving performance we have seen all year from anyone. Completely s##t. That's my point.

You, as always, are wrong on almost every point you either pretend to make or try to dispute. Every single expert and commentator of F1 cited Kubica and Sutil as the best drivers in Monaco (the only 2 w/o any mistakes). As to your point on the driver's skills - any basis for that opinion?

So far, the best duels were in the rain, which tends to equilize the car advantages. Gee, the best piece of racing in 2007 was Massa-Kubica duel in the rain. I really would like to see YOU driving in the rain. I bet 10 mph below speed limit, right???

If I cannot guarantee ifd and buts, you should not make baseless and, frankly stupid statements - they tend to show your complete ignorance of F1.

I think that pitwall is to be blamed for poor Ferrari performance in Monaco.

Ferrari was the only team expecting to rain again. They were driving heavy complete race. After first pit stop they put enough fuel to the end of the race. When rain did not come and track started to get dry, they had to come in and change tyres. After that furious Kimi wanted to make up for lost time and did stupid mistake like many others before. The only misfortune was that he hit the "wrong" guy.

More than anything else it was catastrophic tactical decision. And it did not happen for the first time. Ross Brawn is missed very much at the red pitwall.

Raikkonen took out another driver because he still kept control and tried to stabilize the car but ran out of room.

Others just lost the car (rear Prost 82, Lauda and Mansell 84, front Senna 88, Schumacher 96; 360 Fangio 1956; Mediterranean excursion Ascari 1955).

Are you suggesting that losing it in the fashion that Kimi did was justified by the fact that he tried harder to avoid an accident than your aforementioned list of drivers? Taking '96 bas one example; Brawn said at the time "Michael makes one mistake a year.....that was it".

Kimi is making many mistakes in a year that is very young.

I thought he fell asleep and woke up too late. The hand twirling and flatulance was a mighty specatcle but it amounted to nothing. He lost it and made someone cry too.

it wouldnt have matter anyways, even if it rained hamilton would still have won. he had a 40 second lead before his second pitstop which was around when the rain was expected to come.

also, to say that kubica and sutil were the only ones that didnt make mistakes is ridiculous (not saying u said that but i'm addressing previous posts). sutil passed cars under yellow. didnt u ever wonder why he was able to move so far up the field while heikki wasnt? they started at the back together but heikki had much more difficulty. when alonso kamikazed heidfeld, sutil passed 3 cars that were stopped despite yellow flags being present. i never saw heikki, heidfeld or fisichella make a mistake either. in fact i think heikki drove the best race out of all of them besides hamilton and kubica. everyone says that hamilton got lucky with the safety car but that is irrelevant since he built up a 40 second lead afterwards anyways. the safety car at most saved hamilton 16 seconds since thats how far back he was when it came out, then massa and kubica drove away from him. even if u take those 16 seconds away from the lead before his 2nd stop he still would have came out in front, or right behind massa before massa had to pit so either way he would have won. his pace in the middle stint was unmatched. he was slow at first because he was full of fuel but once that wore down a bit he was constantly the fastest person on track.

it is debatable if kubica would be leading the championship if in a mclaren or ferrari. it's much easier for kubica to shine if his teammate isnt doing well, there is no pressure. but you saw what happened last year. when heidfeld upped his pace, kubica had trouble matching him. heidfeld would always get outqualified but finish ahead of kubica. i dunno whats wrong with heidfeld right now but he should be faster than he currently is.

Maybe that is the key? he could have argued that because they had stopped he had no choice but to pass them to avoid causing a road blockage

That was only from one of the stewards, not all of them, and afaik 25 seconds is not a fixed penalty for that kind of offence.

I must admit, that one confused me a little, not heard of a 25s penalty before, certainly not as a 'standard' penalty. Maybe it's a new one for this year

Lord only knows. I have never even heard a steward make an announcement of this nature before, so heaven only knows what is really going on here

- Mandatory Chinese burns for drivers who are overweight

- Standing in the corner of the garage if you are rude to an FIA official wearing the Dunce Helmet (a new introduction in 2008)

- Tyres filled with lime jelly (jel-o for our American viewers) instead of air if you overtake whilst the safety car is out

- Detention with five hookers and lots of ze punishment if you bring the sport into disrepute

Are they bringing in sniffer dogs for that, or is it the responsibility of the stewards.
