One thing that must be mentioned is Rosberg's pass on Button (?) whilst he was moving out of the way for one of the leaders. That guy is such a good racer...his instinct is brilliant.

I am guessing of course that you have the data to prove he had to fuel himself, rather than he mad a tactical switch?

it doesnt matter how low your fuel is, if you cannot make your tyres work, you will struggle. I also think you will find if you study the race data that it took him a lot more than 3 laps to come up to speed

Well in that case I was wrong, however Mark still struggled on the dries which was unfortunate for him. As I said though I still think he was worthy of his result

I think every driver defo gave it their all. Don't forget the mechanical side of things; Kimi isn't any slower than he used to be, he couldn't get the tires to work today. Of course most of the blame for that goes to him.

Formula 1 these days is so much about qualifying, too much if you ask me. Would be interesting if Michael was still driving, I think he'd get his a## handed to him in quali. He knew when to retire, which is wise. Looking forward to the next season already and I hope it will lessen the importance of qualifying.

Coulthard would do wisely to retire after this season.

Most of the current lot of drivers are a bunch of whining softies. Remember the pre race comment saying they were worried about a wet race? Well that set the tone.

Form the inconsistent lap times, it was clear that there are almost no drivers on the grid willing o give it all. Also from the fact that Sutil was keeping up with them andthe crazy ways in which the fastest lap times changed hands. Every single driver barring Sutil and Kubica? made blunders. Noone on the grid knows how to drive in the rain. Rosberg showed some promise, but all for nothing.

As for Alonso being great in the rain, well he couldn't keep it on track in the dry, so hardly a surprise.

So once again, all together now. F#$% you Raikkonen. F#$% YOU.

Seriously, this is cruel because usually when bottom teams get results it is out of pure luck, like Fisichella's Jordan win. This was a class drive from start to finish, pulling fastest laps, driving 52 laps on his first load of fuel, always on the pace, by far the most consistent driver in terms of pace.

Monaco in the rain is an opportunity for a skilled driver. Sutil is the only one I could see taking it, and Rosberg tried. All the other drivers were woefully inconsistent with their lap times and driving in general.

So yes, I don't think Kubeetza or Massa drove great, the rest of the grid made them look pretty.

We need someone to shake things up.

You, as always, are wrong on almost every point you either pretend to make or try to dispute. Every single expert and commentator of F1 cited Kubica and Sutil as the best drivers in Monaco (the only 2 w/o any mistakes). As to your point on the driver's skills - any basis for that opinion?

So far, the best duels were in the rain, which tends to equilize the car advantages. Gee, the best piece of racing in 2007 was Massa-Kubica duel in the rain. I really would like to see YOU driving in the rain. I bet 10 mph below speed limit, right???

It's called VSL (Variable Speed of Light) and is the latest attempt to reconcile differences between the Big Bang and the present state of the universe. Raikkonen took out another driver because he still kept control and tried to stabilize the car but ran out of room.

Others just lost the car (rear Prost 82, Lauda and Mansell 84, front Senna 88, Schumacher 96; 360 Fangio 1956; Mediterranean excursion Ascari 1955).
