Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2007 Revival time... Anyone know any songs that have particularly odd structures? This one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2rZVOdOCPY has beginning, chorus x2, verse, chorus, bridge, verse x2 and thats it. Unlike the traditional verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus. Which other ones are there that are strange
dribbler 6 Report post Posted September 1, 2007 Try something like The Gates Of Delirium by Yes. When you have worked out the structure, let me know.

Quiet One 15 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Kala, by M.I.A. Noisy, flamboyant, marching dance music. Arbol, an argentinian group and whatever I can find to keep me awake (had a party yesterday...I'm getting too old for this)
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Jesus christ, this autumn is amazing musically for us gay's and pop fans. New Britney stuff - classic's already, especially with lyrics like 'I'm just a girl with the ability to drive a man crazy, make him cum in my mouth, make him my baby.' and 'it's britney, BITCH!'. Not only that J-Lo's new song is ****ing amazing too. We also have the new Kylie material coming out around October and the new Girls Aloud album out around november of which they have co-written most of apparently. It's gonna be an amazing autumn clubbing with songs by these lasses coming out. WOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eric 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Kala, by M.I.A. For some strange reason, I love M.I.A.'s music. And she's not too bad looking, either. "Galang" and "Bucky Done Gun" are the randomest/awsomest songs. Right now I'm listening to anything by Muse, Arctic Monkeys, and The Strokes.

Max Mosley 2 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Yeah I like that one too, Elgo. Mainly because it's got Jay-Z at the start. The video doesn't hurt either.....
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 nooooo its such an annoying song. Listen to Girls Aloud, so so so much better!
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 I have randomly began liking Enrique Iglesias recently, more specifically his spanish language stuff!
Eric 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Yeah, Elgo. I can't get Rihanna out of my head either. Ohhh, you meant the song. That song is pretty addictive. Once I screamed an Enrique song (the I can be your herooo baaaabyyyy.....i can kissss away the pain one) in metal style. Yeah. I do some pretty constructive things with my spare time. I've never listend to Girls Aloud, but I have a good reason, so I can't really comment, but I kind of can: in the case of Girls Aloud, musical abstinance works. Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 In the case of GA, your missing very very original innovative pop songs. I suggest trying Biology and swinging london town, have a listen and you'll see what i mean in uniqueness!
Eric 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Because I'm just so nice I had a look and a listen. The look was good. The listen...yes, definately unique, but not exactly my style.
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Well at least u can admit they are unique even if their music isn't to your taste. Better than that god awful Rihanna bint who is such a Sh#t singer it's unreal!

Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 The last Muse and Arctic Monkey's albums' were both good but not as good as the Arctic's debut and Muse's first 3!
dribbler 6 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 The last Muse and Arctic Monkey's albums' were both good but not as good as the Arctic's debut and Muse's first 3! Yes, people said they were finished after 'The Lamb..' but then of course 'A Trick..' was a success due to its more forgiving melodic composition and comparatively less protentious sentiment. 'W&W' was a step back, mainly because of the Hackett unrest of course. Such a shame because his work on 'Blood' was just sensational. 'And Then There...' was pure pop fodder apart from some lovely moments like 'Burning Rope', as usual, thanks to Banks. Sensitive souls love a good minor chord, especially with a seventh or a ninth thrown in for added neck hair erection. Banks was a master of course. He also knew when to shift a mood with uncanny precision. He was a bit of a Hitchc#ck of the musical notation; one minute hanging the suspense, then delivering the shock; then pulling back, then surprising and delighting. You will of course have no idea what i am talking about. Oh well, you can still stand under my umb(e)rella.
elgo 1 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 well said! btw, another song that is starting to cause me a headache is "take it easy" by mika (not the great 2) it's just everywhere...(just like "the llama song" for Autumnpuma )
