What Is The Worst Circuit?

Im suprised that only me and one other person have voted for Imola. It really is a s##thouse circuit and provides the most boring racing on the F1 calendar.

they could do without the villeneuve chicane in imola to make things a bit more exciting there again, the cars are hardly as dangerous as in 1994 so they might aswell go for the risk

The Villeneuve chicane has always been there. The tamburello chicane was the chicane that was added after Senna died, it used to be a flat out bend

So many people critcise Hungary but on a racing sim i find it quite enjoyable. It never lets up and is quite technical, but hey, what the hell do i know? It's probably totally different to drive for real. I guess my vote goes for Hockenheim. It has been b#####dised more than any other current track.

I should dig out a game that has the Hungaroring and try a few laps...it's been a while since I've done anything on that track, sim-wise.

Watching them has been like watching paint dry on a dead monkey's arse: it should be interesting, but quickly turns boring. I should dig out a game that has the Hungaroring and try a few laps...it's been a while since I've done anything on that track, sim-wise.

Bah, the best track in a sim is Montreal! It's great in real too, always dramatic and with so many technical and flat out parts.

As for actual tracks, Hungaroring has the 2006 season to make it look better. Steve is right, Hockenheim is the worst one because it was one of the best before they sterilized it.

Same goes for Imola...but after Senna I could never watch Imola again with the same feelings.

Magny Cours isn't that bad...it's just that it isn't that good either. Catalunya sucks, I prefer the old street circuit.

Tilke tracks are all good, just too many of them for my taste. Turkey being the best one.

Spa is great, but the nerfed down cars take a lot of the excitement from it.

Monaco...well, nothing to add there.

Ditto for Monza, although I am not a fan of that one. Argentina GP was another flat out circuit with better technical parts.

Silverstone just lacks personality. Is not bad, but rarely a race to remember there in the past few years.

Nurburgring is better, mostly because of the changing weather conditions.

Brasil is great, always dramatic too. It's horribly bumpy but that's an added challenge. One of my favorites.

Indy just plain sucks, I think it is the worst F1 circuit USA had, except for the Chicago one...oh well...and the one in Las Vegas...and the one in Texas...

Oh, and Mexico GP was a nightmare for non-turbo engines (being at such high altitude) guess that's why they didn't like it. Probably bad tarmac too (at least that was the main complaint about Argentina GP, too) Im just guessing here.

I would have to say Spain,so boring,the corners are so basic.Im from Australia i carnt say that Albert Park could be the worst because at least its got a challanging chicaine at 11 12 and a good bunch of flowing corners around a fantatic scenery,and to top it all off the atmosphere is amazing everyone smiling and passionate about F1,plus the unpridictable changing weather always comes into the bag of suprises.

To be hounest with everyone i dont think spa is really that good,it is good but not that good.The best corner of the season is definatly turn 2 up the hill but when u think about it the rest of the track is fairly basic too.

Hungary is great to drive on, its just boring to watch because of the lack of overtaking

It wasn't Ratzenberger was killed in qualifying, Senna was killed in the race, and the circuit was modified after the race, the first time the Tamburello chicane appeared was for the 1995 Imola GP.

I say Indianapolis...for start is not even a real F1 track...I think there are some other great racing tracks in the USA.

i'm surprised that Indy has so many votes, its not terrible in terms of racing, it has massive motorsport heritage, its unique in that it has part of the oval included in the circuit. Compare Indy to Magny Cours which is far worse in every respect

Perhaps this year when they are all on the same tyres, before it was just a Bridgestone playground traditionally.

Its not really too exciting though. Just 1 long straight and a load of slow, mickey mouse infield corners. Nothing to tax the drivers at all.

Surely you mean a live monkey's arse? Now that would be interesting. Monkey's are notoriously mischevious and the live monkey body heat would mean that the paint would dry quicker than on a dead one, thus making the paint drying a lot less tedious. Dead monkey's are no fun, that's for sure. Who would put paint on a monkey, dead or alive? If you were going to paint a monkey why would you pick it's arse? Surely it's face would have more comedy value. You could show the monkey it's face in a mirror whilst laughing at it. Does anyone have any monkey painting experience?
