I agree, you dont do that to your own teammate. That is not cheating, but certainly to do that to your own teammate is horrible IMO. Expect no favours from hamilton towards alonso in the future. By the way, anybody knows where I could watch the press conference or read what is being said in the press conference? Would be very interesting to hear what the two of them is going to say.

We didn't get to see the press conference here, as they usually just transmit the race/qualyfying session and, sometimes, the podium. So i have no idea what is going on! GRRR

Anyways, if FA did that on purpose I will find myself in the curious position of having to condemn him, while I bet many of the persons that tried to justify other driver's controversial moves will surely want to hang him for this one.

If he did it on purpose, even if it is legal and could be considered a smart move (which I don't), it just makes Lewis stand out brighter as he forced Nando to resort to such tactics to keep Lewis at bay.

Lewis was very diplomatic as usual, but he looked shell shocked. He is a very well balanced lad that is able to keep his emotions in check very well. Alonso was just rambling, his guilt was very transparent.

really disappointed for Kovalainen...his tyres (hard) did not work on the last lap..should have gone again with supersoft tyres.

Yup! So funny. Ingenious idea. It has the same flaw as Michael's at Monaco last year though - way too blatant. You can screw your team-mate, and you should, but if the team catch you you're in trouble.

This was a fantastic move by Alonso. Clearly the team was not doing what Alonso wanted. They held him for 20 secs without any particular reason, then they fitted his car with hard tyres.

It is not illegal, but it is clearly against the interests of his own employers, and they will not be happy. They don't pay him a small fortune to screw them over in return.

No favors between drivers on track is exactly what I expect from this sport. they got to fight. Even with their team mates. It is not bad , dirty or inelegant. It is the principle. To be WDC they have to want it realy bad.

Such a situation have already happened in MacLaren and I hold it as best moment in F1 I have been able to witness

Yes I want to understand that too. They can change tires before the start of the race. So it seems strange to me too, unless the hards gave better balance, or the softs were worn out before even one fast lap.

Anyways, F1Technical hints that Alonso was mad at what happened at his first pitstop (I missed it so I have no idea what happened except that I saw them having some problems with his right front tire). Then he came back for the second pitstop and the team held him longer until LH was right behind him (that I saw, and I thought they were working at the back of the McLaren). When the lollipop was raised, he decided not to start as a sort of vengeance. Seems like everybody is playing dirty mind games at McLaren. That does not justifies Alonso childish behaviour, of course, it is a pity But Ron should not act too disgusted as he is not exactly a saint in this whole story, it seems.

And on a net basis McMerc aren't really paying Alonso anything. Santander and MM sponsorships are, and there's plenty left for McMerc once they pay Alonso's salary.

The thing was that the engineer at the wall was holding Alonso because he would go out in the middle of the other cars. That's why Alonso wait until he gives green light.

But the thing is that everybody would be happy at McLaren if Alonso had not improved Hamilton's time. Because it would be first row for the team but now that is not so good for them because it is Alonso who got the pole.

So no problem if Alonso goes out in the middle of the traffic and he gets ****ed up, but if it is Hamilton who has to wait it is a big big drama. Today I saw what the problem at McLaren is.

Alonso leave ASAP!
