Hopefully we can keep this thread about Lewis. A great drive today which all but clinches the World Driver Title. Much respect to claim such a feat as a rookie, regardless of car etc. Bottom line is that was the opportunity granted and through out the year he has shown his caliber.

While I think the Kubica's penalty was ridiculous, it didn't really have much influence on the race in that sense, apart from Lewis losing 7s or something.

Q. Jean, you've seen many drivers, can I just get your comments on Lewis Hamilton, in the 15th race of his career, with a good chance of winning the championship... Can I get your opinion of him?

JT: If you remember, before being in Formula One, he did some incredible races in the wet in GP2 so he has the skill, he has the talent and he has as well the luck which is something you need sometimes, but he did a fantastic job. The only race in which he did not score points this year was the one before because of the rain and this year he got full scores which is great and we can only respect the way he has been driving and what he has been doing this year.

looks like planets are gud for Lewis...he is a gud driver and things are also coming his way with a incident packed japanese grandprix he still emerged from gud to gr8.....so unless miracle happens ...we can say lewis is already rookie world champion

is not talent only 50/50 talkent and luck .....as we saw last year ....i always tghought that MS and FA were the 2 luckiest drivers in f1 FA is still there now we have a LH 100/50 in luck and talent.....

Well, to be fair, he was the one who made the mistake, so he messed up his own chances of racing Hamilton. What I didn't find out, did he actually get the penalty for colliding with Lewis, or because he subsequently gained a place and didn't give it back?

Anyway, you do realise of course that Hamilton was a pitstop ahead when Kubica collided with him ?
