Ayrton Senna 1 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Speaking of penalties, I heard from someone at Renault that Hamilton screwed Piquet's last flying lap on Q2 and that they were going to protest.
Oli 1 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I would've liked to see Kubica, Vettel, or Trulli up there. As things are, only Alonso is the outsider. Not good for us.The DWC? It will be resolved as has the season so far, namely, who makes the less amount of errors. Anything can happen... and it probably will. Consistency has not been among the charms of any of the drivers in top teams. I like the suspense.
Alan333 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Good lap under pressure from Ham one in the eye for the Hamophobics.
Alan333 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Massa has never won when he hasn't been on pole, has he? Tomorrow's a good time to break the jinx. He would certainly be a worthy WDC

The Rumble Strip 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Not sure the championship is over though is it. A non finish really swings the balance of power.
maure 1 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I just read that Alonso is the top-scoring driver from the last three races. How does that make any fcking sense and what the fck does that say about the preformances of the drivers in the top teams? Expect a mess.
Kopite Girl 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 He would certainly be a worthy WDC Massa has worked for it. Lewis has been gifted. So, yes. A worthy WDC. Thanks for noticing! Ah, to be a Lewis fan that isn't up his arse. Quite different!
goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Massa has never won when he hasn't been on pole, has he? Tomorrow's a good time to break the jinx. He has won not from pole before as well...So there's no jinx I reckon it should be a money issue? I think so.... So it basically looks like a miracle is needed for Massa's championship hope to be alive... Speaking of penalties, I heard from someone at Renault that Hamilton screwed Piquet's last flying lap on Q2 and that they were going to protest. He never blocked him... They had communication problems.... http://www.f1complete.com/content/view/10602/900/
Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Massa has worked for it. Lewis has been gifted. So, yes. A worthy WDC. Thanks for noticing! Ah, to be a Lewis fan that isn't up his arse. Quite different! That makes no sense. Anyway, good job by one Fernando Alonso, it's all starting to work for him again at Renault (next year will be interesting if he stays there). Kimi finally did something, well done, although it's beyond late Mr.Drunkonnen. It's a real shame, imagine the battles we could have seen this year off the front row from Kimi and Lewis, sadly it never materialised. Glock was impressive for a while, he isn't bad at all. Nick got beat today. Kova was back on the pace today in quali, I hope he manages to translate that to the race. The green tyres are...weird, I hope it rains so we can't see them. This looks like an interesting race, it could make or break the title for Hammy or Massa. Oh and yes, now is the time for Massa to prove he has the ability to come through the field. Kopite Girl 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 That makes no sense. Lewis- Rookie gets prestigious McLaren drive = Gifted but very lucky Massa -Talentless, but turned it around and worked hard to be where he is = Worthy Champion I know most folks wont agree, just my tuppence worth. I hear what your saying, I also heard Massa was given a Ferrari drive due to connections his manager had (as in his managers dad was Jean Todt). Saying that he's still worthy of the Ferrari drive as he has demonstrated. So onto Lewis, like I said not so long ago, Lewis approached Dennis when he was young, Lewis went out and won the titles by himself, he proved to Dennis he was worthy of a Mac drive. He made his own luck, just like Massa did in actual fact. They are both worthy champions, even if Lewis is much better Edit - and thanks for the add

I can't argue with that cause I said exactly the same myself not so long ago. But I still think Massa has worked just that bit harder.
AleHop 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 The dream is over for Massa and Ferrari. Hamilton pole and winner, the way he likes it. Massa starting from third line, the way he doesn't like it. Hamilton WDC and McLaren WCC. The interest is in Alonso tomorrow, the Championship is over.

mikathegreat2 2 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Not a bad quali session! McLaren seem to really like this track, even Kovy went up to 2nd & Kimi in 3rd. Alonso did'nt to too bad nor Glock! BTW what's up with the green stripes on the tyres!
Max Mosley 2 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Nando will most likely get a peanlty, he was entering the pit and just before entering he caries on with his lap... Nah he's not in a McLaren any more. And it was a great result for Lewis in qualifying, but it's not over yet. Kimi always makes me worried because he has the talent to do something special, when he can be arsed of course. Chances are, Massa will finish 2nd so there's still all to play for. AleHop 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Even after last year people are saying the title is over, just hold on folks, three races left. I'm saying that just because of last year AND because Ferrari sucks AND because Massa is not Schumacher. No, the interest still isn't in Alonso, thank you very much. Wait until Kimi crashes and maybe then.... XD True, the interest is in Raikkonen if he leaves his mojito behind a wall again.
Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I'm saying that just because of last year AND because Ferrari sucks AND because Massa is not Schumacher. Well it's still too early to say that, after tomorrow's race, maybe. For all we know Kimi takes out Hammy at the start tomorrow, Massa is able to leap past Alonso in a slower car and Kova who can't get enough out of the Mac, then teams orders say Kimi gives him the win and he takes a 3 point lead in the title. Then maybe people say something different like 'the championship is over, Massa has won!'. Yeah it's unlikely, but a lot of unlikely stuff happened this season. The Rumble Strip 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 The green strip tyre is an odd one. Not much point in promoting green stuff to an audience that largely knows you want to be green in the first place.
