LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 You seem to forget how he got there in first place Yeah, too bad about the imperfect start.
freaky2 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Kimi looked so funny on the podium. No emotions, mechanically raising arms, first to pick up the bottle, not wasting much of it.Kudos to Alonso, he made the most of his luck. Kubica deserves high praise for his tight defence against Kimi. Above all, Massa. Seriously. The way he did the last few laps was amazing, to say the least. Isn't he always like that? It's just too much time without seeing him up there Ok. Sorry...But what am i apologizing for again?? This forum is degenerating more and more every day
goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 If Massa was penalised , so should be Bourdais. I just hope Massa doesn't get peanilized futhur, however if they give Bourdais a 10 sec addition that would be awesome...
freaky2 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Cav must really like the flavour of sour grapesKimi des now his priorities....the darn champagne bottle Yeah, that's all he's driving for, actually. Would do better if the bottle for the winner was bigger.

goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 What does Alonso say in Espanol in the press conferance?? Something about safety cars and singapore....
Quiet One 15 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 What does Alonso say in Espanol in the press conferance??Something about safety cars and singapore.... He said that this GP win was sweeter for him than Singapore, because luck played a big part in that race with the safety car and such.
freaky2 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Yes, he was explaining how his win in Singapore was quite lucky and that's why this one's way better. Also, the first time I've heard Polish since I watched TV when I was 8, that was fun.

YHR 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Boy was Hamilton ever aggressive off the start. He damn near wrecked the whole field. Hamilton sure didn't do much to try and get back in it. He was one spot behind Massa, but just kind of faded away Massa sure wasn't backing down from anybody today. I hope Massa gets to keep his point, What was Webber trying to do. Kill him and Massa!!!!!! I mean the Ferrari was so much quicker. Webber made his move to the outside to protect that line, Massa went inside and then Webber just kept moving over on him. Very Dangerous. Alonso is truly one of the best. I feel happy for him. Kubica is sneaking up in points. Just imagine if FM and LH keep this up and wreck one another, leaving the door open for Kubica. Twits at ITV had no problem agreeing with the penalty for Massa, but thought Hamiltons first corner hijinks were fine????? Great race. Was a fun race to watch. Quiet One 15 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 If there was any justice, Kubica should win the WDC. He is by far the best of the top 3. Hammy and Massa seem to be able to (as Lincoln would have put it) "snatch defeat from the claws of victory"
Ayrton Senna 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Webber/Massa reminded me of Senna/Prost at Estoril in 1988. Same here. And I think both defending attempts were legit.

AleHop 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 I think you are so wrong about this No, I wasn't too wrong. Just a little bit only. Woah, I like this podium! Yes, best podium of the season. My favourite drivers in the right order. Friendliest podium in the whole season, I think. Friendliest and best. Kubica is sneaking up in points. Just imagine if FM and LH keep this up and wreck one another, leaving the door open for Kubica. If Mr. Mario hadn't stopped developing the car to concentrate on 2009 he might be leading the Championship already. Look what Renault have done.
freaky2 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Yes, best podium of the season. My favourite drivers in the right order. Glad to hear it. Let's have it reversed for China If Mr. Mario hadn't stopped developing the car to concentrate on 2009 he might be leading the Championship already. Look what Renault have done. Yeah... aixxx

freaky2 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 Just watched the incidents myself. I can see the end of Massa and Hamilton's good relation after today. Massa was really good in there. And also, who needs to be friends with Hamilton? (I wouldn't want to xD)
elgo 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 All I can say is that the karma of the universe is back Kubica vs Raikkonen= racing Massa vs Hamilton=non-racing Raikkonen:fastest laps, yet no brilliant result Massa:that's what I call being clumsy Hamilton:the bad side of being over agressive Strategies: thrillin Alonso,Kubica:Grrrreat Piquet:congrats! Toyota:Trulli on 5th so Glock could've been close to the podium A couple of good moments by Rosberg DC:boringly repetitive The standings:Kubica showing his nose to Massa and Hamilton, who want to win it with the less points possible (is there a record for that? ),Raikkonen up to 4th(thank you) and Alonso just 3 points less than Kovalainen,8less than Heidfeld.Who knows? (I know I'm being massively optimistic here ) edit: ouch,Raikkonen was already 4th,only he just had 1point more than Heidfeld.I thought it was the opposite

(like Jesulin would say, in two words) I still want Hamilton to win this one (let's face it, among the ones fighting for it he's still the best) but well, after what we've seen in the last few races only a fool would not say FA is the king. Looking at the stats and after considering the level of the rivals he's compiting with (KR, Fm, LH & RK) i think it's a shame he (FA) did not just cruised for points in the first half of the season. Massa is crap (we all know that). Raikkonen is no longer the racer we knew and Hamilton (yeah, he learnt a lot from last year's mistakes) is just a guy who is going to grab his first WDC just because he has no competence (Do i have to say what do i think about Kovalainen?) I'm sooooo happy... This guy (FA) is going to make Renault world champion next year. Andres, Eduardo, Alehop, Wez... Let's celebrate!!
