I don't give a damn if Schumacher gets disqualified for that, that was hilarious :D

I hope he doesn't gets disqualified he had a great race and he defeat Rosberg fearly and Alonso lost control of his car before he made his move.

It figures there would be something hysterical from you. Your heart must have been close to stop working seeing Schumacher licking Alonso's arse lap after lap.

Well, the truth is that Alonso ran 77 laps with the same tyres and from the pits while Schumacher... no point pointing out the obvious. Everyone that saw the race knows what's what and, thus, your state of violent mental agitation.

At the risk of repetition, from ESPN F1: "...Schumacher passed Alonso in the last corner, a very brave move but it should count as they had passed the safety car line"

I'm pretty hopeful Schu's move will be cleared.

Well, perhaps the fact that Monaco is the shortest race (260 kms I believe) helped Alonso 'nurse' his tyres?

Yes, if Schumi's move and Cav's thread weren't enough to make anyone _smile_ then you can always rely on Maure. :P I'm pretty sure Alonso still had the tyres underneath him to hold off Michael for one more corner, especially considering his team mate was getting 'zero' wear on his set. He was caught out by the great man, just as he was the day before by the barriers. As Cav says in his other thread, Fernando has made a lot of errors this year, considering how people always rant about his consistency. The only thing Alonso's got right so far is twisting the team against Felipe, perhaps with the help of his sponsors.

The fox can loose its hair but not its manners... At least Nando had more luck than Damon Hill...

Not a question of manners. Its called cheating.

The rule clearly states that there will be NO PASSING on a restart once the pace car goes off the track before the timing line is crossed. The green flag meant in this case, clear track ahead.

I don't particularly like any of the two protagonists but there are rules as in any sport (except football maybe as they are the only pro spôrt in the world (!) to not accept video refereeing...), which when broken lead to sanctions. In this case I would go for dangerous behaviour, exclusion from the race or at a very minimum 25 sec penalty which would put him out of the points.

Schumacher showing his (still existing) agressiveness? Bul****t ! Just trying to stretch his luck in his usual total lack of class way. No respect whatsoever for others or rules.

I still don't understand why and how people love cheaters, even if talented.

Reminds me of football fans. Sad.

Hi everybody, sorry to meddle in as you seem to been having quite a good time here.

Schumi penalised with 20 seconds. Drops down to 12th...right behind Alguersuari (oh, the irony!)

I thought you would appreciate hearing it first from me :D

Keep on boogin'! Seems like quite a nice crowd ;)

Bye! :banana_new:

No that's not what the rule states. Go read the rules, or you just sound very stupid. Racing begins at the safety car line NOT at the start finish line (2010 rules).

Observe the green lights. The FIA is stupid. I don't care what they decide, the fact is Freddo fell asleep at the wheel and got passed, that says something about him as a driver :D Whether Schumacher is 10th or 12th in the championship doesn't matter terribly..

@Jay:  No, no no! This is the part where Cav says "Drats!" and you do your impersonation of Muttley.

@Teddydub: Just between you and me...I disagree with you. I saw the replay and I think iut was just killer instinct from Schumi. Those kind of things make you a champion or the guy that ends up behind a Toro Rosso. He gambled. And lost. But (umlike other memorable moments from him) I don't think this was particularly a blatant attempt to bend the rules. He acted on instinct and was well played. I bet Nando would have done the same (and I guess that is why you don't like any of both contenders!)

But...hush! Don't let the other sore losers here know I told you this :D
