and low and behold, it was Kimi's. Then again, is it really that surprising? I've become more surprised if his engine DOESN'T blow at least once in a weekend. Ah well, only one race to go for him after this then he can really party, and Kimi knows how to!

Im sure he means both Mercedes will blow up, leaving the world champion (who has nearly double his points) with an easy victory!!!

Indeed, allegedly. Kimi has 9 pole positions in F1 and several more, allegedly, outside of F1.

What he said is quite true but he should have kept it to himself after seeing what happened to him today.

Couldn't have said it better myself....

and Schumi 13, why should he have kept it to himself. JPM retiring was unfortunate but I think he would have done well and fully justified his comment if he'd been able to continue.

in retrospect, JPM was right though...the Mclaren was the class of the field, and the Renaults were no match for Kimi...If Kimi can win starting from dead last, he sure as hell would have blown away the renaults in a "normal" race weekend at suzuka

i think mclaren have blown renault away... the fact is how long has it been since we heard renault win a race.... and in japan kimi and mclaren won... so JPM was not all tht wrong now was he .... :P ....

Thats a good point. I guess it all depends on your definition of blowing away your oppositon.

GF is no match for the Mclarens, Alonso in another story.

Alonso started ahead of kimi and finished behind him

With a wrong strategy and after loosing 9 seconds for a FIA mistake. Alonso could have fight for victorie, he has done (arguably) the best overtaking movement of the season (that sublime movement over MS in 130R)
