Player(1) 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2006 Yes that completely shows my double standards, showing the middle finger to fans is the same as saying Sh#t on TV Live on TV before the final race would get to more people of a younger age then a picture in some tabloid. How many billions watch a race? how many more would watch it because it was the title decider? how many more because it was MS's last?

cavallino 2 Report post Posted October 25, 2006 Yes people of a younger age would be completely unaware that humans need to Sh#t, and their innocent little minds will be scarred for life for hearing about the human excretory system before the are supposed to. Look this is so incredibly lame, it is not worth arguing over. If he was not lying, well fair enough, I don't care if he said it. If he was, he is an idiot, but I still don't care, I just hope he can drive like hell, or Massa can. I have no interest whatsoever in Kimi beyond that. PS: I am so reminded of a South Park episode right now
Max Mosley 2 Report post Posted October 25, 2006 I suspect he was lying, and I would prefer he was. Either way he obviously meant it as a joke. F1 should be for adults imho. Any kids aren't really going to complain anyway. Their parents should be less prudish.

After all, Schumacher is Kimi's role model, he stated it.....
Schumikonen 2 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 I find it strange, I get the impression they're (Kimi and Schumie) good buddies. After all, Schumacher is Kimi's role model, he stated it..... That's why I think that he really was having a big $#!* like he said, I don't have any reason to doubt it, it could have been a little earlier then when he came out were he was doing the Ceremony was in process already who knows, I think it was funny what he said and even better the answer, that's why I post it, I saw so many people saying that he doesn't have a personality that I wanted to show his funny side, we all know that is good with hangovers so I would change my opinion of him, next year he will be the champion and we'll see him smiling more often, just think who will smile if you're stressed thinking what will go wrong with your car now, maybe Alonso won't be smiling next year. Kay 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 Love the double standards of some people... "Kimi has no personality, he's like a robot he should get a personality transplant" "Kimi has personality, no no no take him away, he can't swear"
Max Mosley 2 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 I find it strange, I get the impression they're (Kimi and Schumie) good buddies. After all, Schumacher is Kimi's role model, he stated it..... Yeah but Kimi's remark is just what I'd say to my mates. Michael won't be offended - he'd probably just say that Kimi was really having his pre-race wank for good luck. This is an interesting episode imho: if only the drivers didn't get bullied into being PC and bland it would be so much more interesting as we can see that many of them in private are probably quite interesting. The prudes spoil it for everyone.

Have you never punched a mate in the kidneys and called him a twat in playful jest? As i stated earlier, these are a bunch of guys who would laugh and banter like the rest of us guys who do the same without acting like a bunch of ****ing school kids and BLOWING IT OUT OF PROPORTION!!! Someone close this thread. If a driver punches another in the face, hard, then it would be worthy of discussion. This is just fodder.
5P33D3V1L 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2006 I thought it was damn funny and I love drivers with a sense of humour and personality even though he sounds like a robot. I think him at ferrari will be interesting so he should shake things up haha but I dont think Ferrari care as long as he wins races and championships Ferrari wont care I mean they hired Schumacher after Adelaide 94. So why not Kimi

Schumikonen 2 Report post Posted October 27, 2006 Remind me of a Zappa quote; "Scientists say that the most plentiful element in the world is Hydrogen but i think it must be stupidity". And who said that Scientists are saying the truth, they just say what they believe, maybe one of this days you wake up and find that news in the TV or the newspaper: Scientists discover there's more stupidity in the world than anything else that is like the planet who knows how many planets we got in our Solar system, first hey said there were nine planet, then they said it was twelve, now Pluto is not a planet so we got eight and this is not over yet so don't worry aout it, everything is possible. Schumikonen 2 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Are you stoned? Like, wow! Why should I be? I mean I don't care about how many planet we got, that is only important if you are in a show where you can get money if you give the correct answer, beside that, there nothing I can do with that info so they can say whatever they want, they don't agree among themselves so why would I care about that? Can't believe 3 pages for $hit? yeah, but it was a big one

Religious folk love to point at a disagreement as some kind of anarchy of knowledge. It isn't, it is the foundation of science, of something being proven right. Religious folk love to point at a disagreement as some kind of anarchy of knowledge. It isn't, it is the foundation of science, of something being proven right. There are some aspects of science that cannot possibly be proven, yet the perception is that science is correct...even without adequate proofs. Scientists are a bit heady these days; they explain parts of the universe correctly a few times, then claim that all their views are correct. Not so. Many aspects of science require the same amount of 'faith' as a religion does.

Agree here with you mike, many scientists fudge their results to make it more believeable, like remove the 2-3 odd results in your graph to get a perfect correlation, thus not allways scientistts word has to be true. Indeed. I ran into this problem in anthropology years ago. Belief was required in many situations when reconstructing the past with limited data. When three different hypothesis are presented, all with equal likelyhood of being true, it's usually the professor with the largest pockets that gets his views advanded to a fact then placed into the history books. TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2006 I have to comment on the original topic - I thought it was a fantastic comment from Kimi. I personally couldn't really care if he's following a ceremony or not, at least I laughed quite hard when I saw it happen The whole thing was a tabloid thing here in Finland too, and I think it's a joke to make news of something that, really, isn't news at all.
