Argento Reloaded 1 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 Some comments (without any specific order): the term "spaghetti western" were coined at the states refering some extrange king of westerns made in Italy by italians! The most famous actor of them was Giuliano Gema a very handsome guy. Does anybody watched "Ils" ("Ellos" in spanish - "Them" in english)? Based on a true history is short but well done and interesting film. The one you started to think about the situation for many days. I
Max Mosley 2 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 Those are 2 of the best already ... Tune in to House on Monday evenings Wez, sort of comedy, but delightfully weird. Other than that, I don't follow much Ah yes support Hugh Laurie, who went to the same college as me. Good rower; crap student. (Him; not me.) Also, it might or might not be on where you are, but my favourite show atm is Mock the Week. It's improvised comedy, loosely based on the week's news stories. Pure genius. I like funny chat shows too, like Jonathan Ross and Jimmy Kimmel.
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 How many movies do u go thru a week? Around 12 to 15. I am pretty much of a loner, by compulsion.
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 "Cinderella Man" is very good, very uplifting. Well, for the duration of the movie, it was uplifting. But real life doesn't have an inspiring background score!

Highly recommended.

Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 You just got rid of the only one in the whole forums that was on your side. Good thing I found a guy called George around here, sounds like a nice guy... How many movies do u go thru a week? You should clarify the question, including or excluding porn... Guys, What are good TV series at the moment???At the moment Im watching Heroes, Prison Break, Dexter & Dirty Sexy Money... All of which are pretty good! Heroes and Prison Break are darn good, and Dexter is great. You should check out Mock the Week like Murray said, it's good, Have I Got News For You is also a great show. Other than tha: Peep Show, Top Gear, Curb Your Enthusiasm, House, QI, Never Mind the Buzzc#cks and Lost (although you'd have to see it from the start and it ain't as good as it used to be). I liked the way Lost is going these days, i think they are explaining more of the story. I am actually finding that better than Prision Break and Heroes. (Reason, Lost has an end, they know they want to finish it off in 2 seasons, Heroes and PB don't, so they keep dragging it...)

Yeah that's true, I just hope they don't rip off the viewers with something really crappy at the end, I invested a lot of time in that show.

Other than tha: Peep Show, Top Gear, Curb Your Enthusiasm, House, QI, Never Mind the Buzzc#cks and Lost (although you'd have to see it from the start and it ain't as good as it used to be). They've quite literally stripped Lost with turps, set it on fire and murdered it. I watch Kitchen Nightmares, The F Word, Medium, Katie and Peter and thats all I can stomach on the TV. If there is a good film on Sky, I'll watch it. Last film I watched on Sky was Working Girl last night, and quite enjoyed it though girlie films aren't my thing. 9 DAYS TO 007! LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 Thanks to Brad & Steve, I watched "Josey Wales" & "Pale Rider". "Josey Wales" made me laff my a## off. The number of times Clint Eastwood spat on the dog, and the dog's reactions, were too funny. Poor doggy! I wonder if Indians take after Clint as regards spitting. Spitting everywhere is a must-do for Indians.

LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 I have forgotten the line that likable Indian fella repeats everytime.... adhere to persevere...something like that? How do you rate the 2 films....??? Josey Wales was entertaining (the humor helped, remember ) . Pale Rider was less entertaining... mediocre to be honest. Edit: about the indian guy, he'd ramble on about "having an edge" . You can easily download the english subs from www.subscene.com. After extractign the file, just open the .srt file with notepad. Voila, every word of movie in front of you! thanks for mentioning the indian guy. i laffed my a## off when this old guy slept with a woman young nuff to be his granddaughter.
