Quiet One

Happy Beerday, Steve!

Recommended Posts

Best wishes for one of the true friends I have here.

Get drunk. If you already are, sober up then get drunk again.

If you can read this post, then you are not drunk enough.

And remember: "They talk of my drinking but never of my thirst" as some Scottish wise guy (probably not Coulthard) said.

A TF1 birthday thread I'm not late too! Wow.

Anyway, as the others have said - I hope you have/had (depending when you read this) a great day.

Happy birthday Steve! I tell you a secret: I´ve started a campaign to buy a proper birthday present for you. After a lot of deliveration we agreed on:

http://historicformulaone.com/notices/for-sale-1972-march-721

I did my best to found the funds and.... the only thing I can say is Happy Birthday!

(Is more easier to get some money from Bernie than TF1 forums!!!)

Thanks, all of you. I had to work, unfortunately, but Mrs drib made the evening memorable. She took me out for a beautiful meal, we came home, drank champagne and giggled like teenagers. All the while knowing our beautiful boy was upstairs, completely oblivious and blissfully unaware of how much he is loved.

I'm happier now than I have ever been before.

Perhaps it sounds cheesey, but TF1 has its tiny part to play in that too. I have said many times that there are people here who would no doubt be my friends in real life.

And yep, I'm sober. For now.

See, Paul? That's what I want! Why can't we have our own as well??? I want kids! A nice house. I want a normal life! Not unlike Max Mosley's!!!

We have all that. Well, except for the kids........and the nice house........and the normal life. Aside from those, it's all good.

Happy birthday Steve! I hope you will be back with your usual remarks after the spell of the champagne wears off (but I'm glad you had a great time!).

Thanks to everyone else. So, my old boss emails me this week and asks if would like to got to the British GP this year (again. He paid for me to go last year when he was my boss). I reply, yes, of course.

He rang me this morning; we're going to the Paddock Club with three day passes. The tickets cost £3,200 each. I'm semi-erect already and it's still April......

We have got a suite above the pitlane. If I stay off the champagne I promise to get some truly great pics for us all.

Sorry, it sounds like a right old brag. I don't meant it too. I just think more than anyone else I can share this with, you guys understand my excitement. Not tols anyone else yet, apart from Mrs drib (it is on the weekend of our anniversary, after all!!!)
