100 Starts, Zero Wins

Recommended Posts

alonso never won a race in 04 and was thrashed by trulli for half the season!

He didn't win in 2004, but he most definately wasn't thrashed (maybe in one or two races), but no doubt about it Alonso was the better driver of the two in 2004. If Trulli was really that close to Alonso he would not have been fired!!! :nono1:

Last race in Japan I remembered Trulli loosing 3rd place in France to Barrichello...Renault needs a better second driver.

Lol, some people just won't face facts.

I'm sure you're right, but what are you referring to?

I don't understand what sato or MFHJ are talking about

Me neither. But that's not unusual.

Possibly...... but he seems to hate everybody (except JPM), just that he hates JB even more...

I don't really understand it, but he's entitled to his own opinion.

I think he has a dart-board in his bedroom with JB's face on it

I might ask him to send me one!

You want to know the truth?

Drivers I like:

JPM

Alonso

Sato

Webber

Heidfeld

Drivers I dont:

JB

Kimi

Schumacher

Barrichello

Karthekeyan or whatever he's bloody called

Coulthard

So what you just said up there about me is clearly rubbish.

And no, I do not have a dartboard of any description in this house.

Also I want to point something out, my only point in this thread is that JB has had many chances to win (not least Sunday) and somehow made a mess of it several times. 100 starts and no wins is pretty bad IMO.

What the F### ?

Here is a small comparison

Fernando Alonso Jenson Button Kimi Raikkonen

(29-07-1981) (19-01-1980) (17-10-1979)

Total Races 69 100 86

Wins 7(10.1%) 0 (0%) 9(10.5%)

Podiums 22(31.8%) 12(12%) 29(33.7%)

Finishes with points 38(55%) 45(45%) 45(52.3%)

Pole Positions 8(11.5%) 2 (2%) 9(10.5%)

Fastest laps 3(4.3%) 0 (0%) 14(16.3%)

World Championships 1 0 0

What is his acheivments from the 100 races ?

this makes me right again.. KIMI is the best so far :clap3:

I got a WDC that says differently

actually I can trump that (sorry foxtrot), I got two. :D

Messers Alonso and Schumacher, both of whom Kimi has failed to beat to the WDC.

100 races? Care to count again? It isn't.

does it really matter though ?? 100 or 99 or 98 ?? There still is a 0 in the important column :P

I've already corrected the topic starter.

I don't need correcting thank you much. I didn't write the article or give the article it's title. F1 Central wrote the piece so go correct them.

that is if he does not start envying Williams and want to move there again if they do better than HONDA).

that is a distinct possibility considering the proposed rule changes(especially tyres)

But you didn't correct them... so you believed them too.

Then you must be very knowledgeable or arrogant. F1 Central know more about F1 than myself, so why would I feel the need to correct them? Why dont' you write a letter to their editor since you know all under the sun.

Jenson has never had the car to win. If he had, he would have won by now. "2004" I hear you cry - well how can you say its a race-winning car when no-one won a race in it. For all we know, the renault may have been a far better car but Jenson just did a brilliant job getting 10 podiums out of it. When, oh when, will the small group of low-lifes stop going on about JB. If you hate him then WHY KEEP TALKING ABOUT HIM ALL THE TIME
