For my money - Massa looks pretty good for this one - 2 wins and looking pretty good in Friday practices - as long as there's no rain.

I'll hold off on actual predictions until I see Saturday's practice and the weather forcast.

Actually I'm starting to think that Kimi can edge Massa out here which, as this is the last 'Felipe circuit' of the year is very bad news for him. Coming 2nd here wouldn't be the biggest deal for Kimi but for Massa it would be a disaster as I can see Ferrari stepping in quite soon at this rate to tell him to play no.2.

Saturday Practice Review :

As usual, Saturday morning's final practice session proved to be a rather unpredictable affair, with the top teams again opting to run with heavy fuel, simulating the final phase of qualifying, while the mid-field teams decided to run with low-fuel, simulating the first two phases of qualifying. By the end of the hour-long session, Red Bull's Mark Webber had clocked the fastest time, a 1m27.030s, the weekend's quickest thus far.

Similar to yesterday, the session endured a subdued start, as water on the track at turn 12 resulted in the teams staying in their garages until the twenty minute mark. Timo Glock was the first driver to emerge from the pits, sporting a set of wet weather tyres. His times of 1m30.427s and 1m29.797s were soon beaten by McLaren's Lewis Hamilton on hard tyres.

The follow quarter of an hour saw the lead change hands numerous times, with Nico Rosberg, Fernando Alonso, Nelson Piquet, Kimi R

and rain before qualifying is aparently expected so.....

change of heart - Massa won't be on pole and therefore won't win.

Hamilton on pole BUT

podium will be...

1) Kimi

2) Hamilton

3) Massa

followed by

4) Kubica

5) Kovi

6) Alonso

7) Heidfeld

8) Webber

Hamilton will get pole in drying out conditions in the final seconds of qualifying, but the Ferraris will (yet again) be faster in the bendy sections come (dry) race day. Kimi will either take him at the start or wait for the first pit stop and do it then.

Alonso will qualify with Massa on the second row, but get taken by Kubica on the first lap or shortly afterwards on one of the straights.

Kovi will take Alonso too, but only after Alonso pits earlier in the first stop. By that time he will have enough of an advantage over Heidfeld to make 6th place stick (if the renault doesn't give way again).

Heidfeld and Webber will round out the points places.

Right - you don't need to watch the race now - we'll just say I'm right.

We won't see complete Ferrari domination and BMW will do well on race day.

Yeah, why is Piquet still in F1? He's had 2 seasons of GP2 and 1.5 years' worth of F1 testing, and still looks God-awful. Nakajima is obviously here on Toyota's orders, and Sutil has looked quite promising at times in his career (for a backmarker).

Yeah, it seems Flabio has learned from his rash criticism of Kovy last season, but I think he learned the wrong lesson. NPJr has had plenty of time imho and should be given an ultimatum. Perhaps commercial interests are at play.
