aussief1 4 Report post Posted August 23, 2007 never heard about it... what's it abt??Nathan go asap for the movie it is hilarous to even people who have never seen simpsons... Yeah, I'm planning to, problem is the girlfriend hates the Simpsons and most of my mates have already seen it. So I can either go and see it by myself and sit there like a loner or convince one of my mates to see it again. I think you need to rephrase that. Yeah it sounds like a home made Hollywood porno!!! LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 Saw this Japanese movie "Ichi the killer". A truly awesome movie. Full of psychopathic characters, the film is one hell of a ride. Mind you,not for those who dislike violence. Tongues cut off, arms torn off, eyes gouged out, neck sliced open, boiling oil poured on the back...the list could go on. For me, the best scene was where one sadomasochistic psychopath says to another psychopath that the latter is "truly demented". If you watch the movie, you may concur with me in that Ichi has some degree of necrophilia present in him. And like many popular oriental movies, the ending is very ambiguous & open to interpretation. I'll catch "Audition" & "Gozu" by the same director. Also saw "American Psycho". I could identify with what Christian Bale's character went through. A good movie. Going by the "traffic" of posts here, it's safe to assume that each of you has a life. LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 You guys should see "No country for old men". I have read that Javier Bardem has given a truly mindblowing performance in the role of a psychopath.

Eric 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2008 Just saw Juno. Pretty fun film about a Canadian(?) 16 year old who gets pregnant and has to choose what to do about it. I'd love to login to your Amazon.com account someday, Graham, and just see what they reccomend for you. I imagine kitty cat sweaters knitted by your mother-in-law and movies described as heart-warming and tender tear-jerkers are among the things they tell you to buy. Okay, I'm done making fun of your manhood, as I don't have time to continue. I have to catch up on the neighborhood gossip with the girls and then watch some romantic comedies. Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted February 10, 2008 Well my fave films would have to be (in no order whatsoever), Casino, Heat, Good Will Hunting, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Rocky, Grand Prix, The Usual Suspects, Scary Movie, The Shining, Alien, Battle Royale, Borat, Nightwatch, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix, The Shawshank Redemption, The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, The Godfather, Batman Begins, Snatch and probably a fair few more. Last film I saw was Benchwarmers which was better than I expected.
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted February 10, 2008 Just saw Juno. Pretty fun film about a Canadian(?) 16 year old who gets pregnant and has to choose what to do about it. +1. It is a funny movie. Probably the funniest scene was where Juno says to her boyfriend "I'm sorry about the baby" . I mean she kicks a##! It was a welcome relief to see a female character not simpering. Dude, you call me mentally unhinged for watching movies chock-a-block with psychopaths & extreme violence. And you make fun of the other extreme too! I advise you to watch "Ichi The Killer". Trust me, you'll thank me for it. In my humble opinion the original is much better. There isn't as much pointless violence, not that i'm against pointless violence but it distracts from the movie.
